Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi
Welcome to Hanoi! You will meet our warm guide and driver outside the customs of the airport. After greeting, a comfortable ride will take you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to either relax at the hotel or stroll around.

Day 2 Hanoi
Today, our guide will accompany you on a city tour of Hanoi. Firstly, we will head for Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and stilt house to get to know the life of this great national leader. The nearby One Pillar Pagoda, seated on a single stone pillar, is also covered in our itinerary. After that, our tour continues to the Temple of Literature, where you can explore the academic history of the country. Before having lunch, we will stroll around the Fine Arts Museum of Vietnam to appreciate precious artworks from prehistoric periods to present days.

We will spend a whole afternoon hanging out in the Old Quarter to have a glimpse of local life. Our guide will also accompany you to see the tranquil Hoan Kiem Lake in this area, and later enjoy the Water Puppet Show at a nearby theatre.

Day 3 Hanoi - Halong Bay
After a hearty breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Halong Pier. You will board the 4-star cruise ship there to start the fascinating Halong Bay cruise tour. As you drift down the emerald sea, you will encounter numerous islands, hills and oddly-shaped rocks. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to a rowing boat to visit Vung Vieng Fishing Village. When finished, return to the main craft and the rest of the day is free for your relaxation. After having dinner onboard, you will spend the night in the luxury cabin on the ship.

Day 4 Halong Bay - Hanoi - Danang - Hoian
Attending a Tai Chi class on the upper deck is a good way to start this brilliant day. After a morning tea or coffee, you will disembark to visit Thien Canh Son Cave and explore some nearby islets. Then return to the ship to have a bumper brunch. You will arrive at Halong Pier at around noon. Our guide will pick you up at the pier and transfer you to Hanoi Airport for your onward flight to Danang. The local guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to check into a hotel in Hoian.

Day 5 Hoian (Walking Tour & Boat Trip)
Today, our guide will accompany you on a walking tour of Hoian Old Town, which used to be a prosperous trading port in Southeast Asia. You will be guided to visit some Chinese-styled buildings along crisscrossing lanes, including Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Hall and Tan Ky Old House, as well as the Japanese Covered Bridge. After that, a relaxing boat trip will take you to an island village for you to explore the rural life of local fishermen.

Day 6 Hoian - Ho Chi Minh City
After checking out of the hotel, we will continue our trip to Danang and visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture, which displays hundreds of pieces of pottery figures reflecting Cham culture - an ethnic group of Vietnam. After that, you will be escorted to the airport and fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon landing, our local guide will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to check into a downtown hotel.

Day 7 Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Reap
Today, we have a whole day to explore landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City, starting with War Remnants Museum, exhibiting actual photos, materials and weapons from the wartimes. After that, we will continue the tour to Reunification Palace, the former presidential mansion containing 100 sleekly-decorated halls. Next, head eastward to admire French-style Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office, and then appreciate elaborate reliefs at the gothic Opera Theatre and take pictures of the luxury City Hall.

This private Ho Chi Minh City tour will end at this point. Take a private transfer to the airport and fly to Siem Reap to continue the Cambodia tour from Ho Chi Minh. Our local guide will provide you with a warm pick-up service at the airport and escort you to the hotel.

Day 8 Siem Reap
The gorgeous sunrise scenery over Angkor Wat will be a perfect start for today's private Siem Reap tour. After that, our tour continues to the Angkor Thom, the last capital city of Khmer Empire. Our guide will accompany you to tour the city and trace its past splendour. Like other Angkorian relics, sites in the city are adorned with intricate reliefs and sculptures. At Bayon Temple, you will feel amazed seeing 216 big smiling faces carved on 54 stupas, while vivid and complicated reliefs of gods and devils can be found at the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King.

On leaving of Angkor Thom, our guide will lead you to Ta Prohm Temple, where dense roots of ancient trees have tangled with dilapidated halls for years. The amazing Apsara Dinner Show awaits you at night, offering both gourmet cuisines and fabulous dancing performance.

Day 9 Siem Reap
After breakfast, we will start off today's Cambodia tour itinerary with the Preah Khan Temple, built in the 12th century. It was used as the temporary chamber for the king during the construction of Angkor Thom. After that, we drive to the suburb area to explore Banteay Srei Temple, recognized as 'the Diamond of Angkorian Arts', with exquisite reliefs and sculptures. Then continue the journey to Beng Mealea, a deserted Hindu Temple amid jungle. When we are finished, reverse the trip back to downtown area.

Day 10 Siem Reap - Luang Prabang
Having explored much of the past Angkorian culture, this morning, our guide will accompany you to visit a Khmer village and also take a boat to a floating village on Tonle Sap Lake.

Returning to the city proper and having finished the Cambodia tour itinerary, we will head for the airport for your onward flight to Luang Prabang. Our local guide will welcome you at the airport and then escort you to the hotel.

Day 11 Luang Prabang
After breakfast, our guide will meet you in the hotel lobby, and then transfer you to embark a boat to cruise down the Mekong River. Besides taking in picturesque river views on the way, we will also stop at Ban Xang Hai Village to taste local rice wine called lao-lao. We will finally dock at Pak Ou Caves, where more than 8,000 Buddha statues are enshrined in two giant caves at the foot of the cliff.

The afternoon journey leads you to Kuangsi Waterfall to appreciate supreme natural scenery, paddle in the water, and enjoy a natural fish spa. After that, our tour continues to Ban Xang Khong Village famous for producing silk and paper handicrafts. When finished, our guide will escort you back to Luang Prabang.

Today's private Luang Prabang tour starts with the Royal Palace Museum, exhibiting a variety of royal objects and religious statues. Among them, a gold standing Buddha named Phra Bang is the most precious, after which the town was named. After that, we will continue to the splendid Wat Xieng Thong to appreciate not only splendid halls, but also the renowned mosaic painting - the Tree of Life. Then our guide will accompany you to visit other old Buddhist sites including Wat Visoun and Wat That Luang.

When we are finished, a private transfer will take you to the airport for your flight to Bangkok. You will meet our local guide upon landing at Bangkok Airport. Then take a comfortable ride to the hotel.

Day 13 Bangkok
Today, we will set out for a morning excursion to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where local vendors row boats to sell fresh tropical fruits and vegetables. Our guide will accompany on a boat trip to hang out in the busy bazaar on water. Afterwards, a private transportation will take you back to the downtown area. Then we will head for the Grand Palace, the imperial chambers for royal family from the reign of Rama I (1782 - 1809) to Rama VII (1893 - 1941). You will also be led to see the national treasure - an emerald Buddha at the Wat Phra Kaeo inside the palace.

Day 14 Bangkok - Chiang Mai
Today, a morning flight will take you to Chiang Mai. Our local guide will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. After settling, we will set out for a hiking tour to Mountain Doi Suthep. Climb uphill along a stairway guarded by painted statues of dragons on both sides to reach Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Besides profound Buddhist culture and typical Thai-style buildings, you can have a panoramic view of the whole city at a viewing platform behind the main hall. Our guide will also accompany you to stop by the nearby Meo Hilltribe Village inhabited by local Hmong people. You can get to know their distinctive customs, architectures, and clothes while lingering around.

When the tour is over, a comfortable ride will take you back to the hotel for a good rest.

Today, we will spend a whole morning having a close obseravtion of elephants at the Elephant Nature Park, where dozens of elephants live a carefree life in the semi-wild environment. With the guide's explanation, you can have a better understanding of the habits and characteristics of elephants.

Once returning to downtown area, you have a free afternoon to explore the city on your own.

Arrive at Chiang Mai Airport by a private transportation and fly to Yangon. Our Yangon guide and driver will welcome you at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for your own arrangements.

Day 17 Yangon
After breakfast, our guide will lead you to start this private Yangon tour with Shwedagon Pagoda, seated on the top of Singuttara Hill. It is the holiest Buddhist site in Myanmar, enshrining relics of four Buddhas. The Stupa complex there is covered by a layer of gold foils weighing 27 tons in total. After that, you will be accompanied to worship a giant reclining Buddha at Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda. The Buddha is of six storeys high and 108 images carved on his feet are indicative of 108 reincarnations in Buddhism. Then the tour continues to Sule Pagoda worshipping the patron saint of Singuttara Hill.

Next, head westwards to hang out in the Chinese Town, where you can have a glimpse of local Chinese life and sample some Chinese snacks. We will round off the day with Bogyoke Market, which is a must-visit bazaar in Yangong brimmed with wide selection of souvenirs, like jewelry, gold and silver wares, puppets and other handicrafts.

Day 18 Yangon - Bagan
Today, you will take a morning flight from Yangon to Bagan. Upon arrival, you will meet the local guide at the exit and then hop on our comfortable vehicle to the hotel. After a short break, the guide will accompany you to stop by Mani Sithu Market to glance at local lifestyle, and then go visit the golden Shwezigon Pagoda, which is the largest Buddhist stupa in Bagan. Then our tour continues to Htilominlo Temple built 800 years ago, Nat Taung Kyaung Monastery - a teak religious site constructed in the 18th century, and Shwesandaw Pagoda with a history of over 900 years. We will round off the day with rosy sunset scene by a private boat.

After breakfast, we continue our exploration of Buddhist stupas on Bagan Plain. We will start the day with Thatbyinnyu Temple, the highest Buddhist building in Bagan with a main pagoda pointed to the sky and surrounded by several small stupas. After that follows a visit to Ananda Temple, a grand white Buddhist site with a giant golden stupa on the top. Later we will head for Nanpaya Temple to enjoy exquisite stone carvings. The next destination is Manuhua Temple housing a reclining Buddha and two sitting Buddha statues, all of which almost occupy the entire space of the halls. Next, we will proceed to Gubyaukgyi Temple which is famous for intricate murals.

Later, we will continue the trip to Myinkaba Village to have a glimpse of local rustic life and also visit a few lacquer workshops. At the end of the day, you will admire the Pyatthat Gyi Temple, which offers you a splendid sunset view.

Day 20 Bagan - Heho - Inle Lake
A morning flight will take you to Heho. Our local guide will pick you up from the airport and escort you to check in a hotel near Inle Lake. After some rest, our guide will accompany you on a motorboat trip across Inle Lake to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, which enshrines five holy Buddha statues totally covered with gold foils. Then we will proceed to Ngaphechaung Monastery, also known as the Jumping Cats Monastery because cats there are trained by monks to jump through loops. After that, our guide will lead you to visit a local village to experience rural life.

The rest of the day is free for you to stroll around the town.

After breakfast, we will set out for a boat trip on Inle Lake to enjoy the peaceful natural scenery, disembarking midway to visit Indein Village which is famous for a cluster of more than 1,000 old pagodas.
