Jenny - The Best Tour Guide for Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, and Great Wall.
I had the pleasure of having Jenny as my tour guide for this trip. She was wonderful - energetic, knowledgeable and patient. She was able to answer all our questions and more some. It’s been a while since I’ve had such a great tour guide. If you have the chance to be blessed by Jenny’s presence, you will be very lucky! 5 Stars!

A Thousand Years in a Day: A Journey Through Beijing's Imperial Heart and the Great Wall
This full-day tour is a marathon of Chinese history, but absolutely worth the effort. The sheer scale of Tiananmen Square is humbling, and walking through the Forbidden City feels like stepping into a living museum. The intricate details of the architecture are breathtaking.

The highlight, of course, is the Great Wall. Climbing its steep steps is a physical challenge, but the panoramic views from the top are simply unforgettable. It’s a powerful reminder of China’s ancient engineering More

    Insightful full day Xi’an tour
Lily is a very knowledgeable guide. She provided insightful details to the history of the Terracotta Army and The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. Her ability to navigate the group through the crowds so everyone had the opportunity to see/experience the sites made the tour worthwhile. I skipped the city walk and Muslim Bazaar as I had explored it on my own the day before but I heard it was great from other tourists who were on the same tour. Recommend for anyone visiting Xi’an.

Outstanding day tour in Xi an!
We had an excellent full day tour covering all the main highlights of Xi an. Jackie was a fantastic guide very knowledgeable, clear in his explanations, and with good English.

The car was extremely comfortable and high quality, and the driver was also excellent, always professional and punctual.

Everything was perfectly organized and smooth. Highly recommended!

    Perfect small group experience
We had an excellent day on this small group tour, made truly memorable by our guide, Lily. Her knowledge and passion brought the history and culture of the Terracotta Army and City Wall to life. With just six people, the experience was personal and engaging, allowing for deep dives into the stories and background of each site. Lily was attentive, ensured our group stayed together, and shared fascinating insights throughout. Highly recommended for an insightful and enjoyable tour!

    Xi’an Greatest Hits feat. Roger
Roger was a fantastic guide. His tour was filled with a ton of historical not just about the Terracotta Army itself but also Xi’an and its time as the capital and serving as the nexus of the Silk Road. We hit the main spots in addition to the mausoleum and ended in the Muslim bazaar just in time for dinner. If like me, you are pressed for time when coming to Xi’an, I highly recommend this tour as it covers a lot while not feeling too rushed.

Shanghai - a one day taste that is filling!
My guide, Ryan, made this one day tour worth every minute. We saw some key highlights of the city (including a river cruise in the fog which made for wonderful moody photos!) but it was the information and insights shared by Ryan that made every location come alive. There were also 2 things not on the itinerary that I wanted to do and Ryan made those happen! Amazing guide and worthwhile experience.

James: A Knowledgeable, Accessible Guide to Shanghai
We were in excellent hands with James. He is very knowledgeable about Shanghai and about China in general - its history, traditions, and economy. He guided us throughout the main visits included in our tour, explaining things in detail at all attractions. He also provided tips on where to go at night, where to eat (especially traditional Shanghainese food), and other places of interest to visit. He speaks very good English and was available via WeChat at all times during our stay in Shanghai.

An excellent day tour of Shanghai
We had a great tour with our guide Helen. Everything went smoothly from the hotel pick up to the hotel drop off. GORGEOUS GUILIN
My wife and I recently undertook a trip to China which saw us visit the cities of Guangzhou, Guilin, Chongqing, Hangzhou and Shanghai. Every city in China has its unique attractions and, no doubt, the feature which made Guilin stand out was its limestone hills/ mountains. It is easy to see why people rate Guilin as the most beautiful place in China. Of course, the 4 hour cruise down the Li River is a must and an experience not to be missed or forgotten. Another outstanding "feature" of our time in Guilin was our tour guide, Oscar Lu. He was not only knowledgeable about the place but he also made his narratives so interesting. Above all, he was always sensitive and attentive to our needs and always looked at things from our perspective. When it was time for our train trip to Chongqing, he gave us a map of the station in Chongqing so that we would know exactly where to go when we got there. He even gave us the name and contact number of the person who was meeting us. Having missed our guide at another station, we greatly appreciated this thoughtful gesture on Oscar's part. Once again, A HUGE THANK YOU, OSCAR!

We did the Li river cruise, the night spectacular (rivals Fantastmic), bamboo river rafting, biking through rice fields, tasting fruit, climbing 500 steps up a mountain for gorgeous views, an evening lake cruise downtown Guilin, tea tasting and much more. What a treat. Our guide Samantha was the best part of this leg of our trip!
