I was extremely happy with Alain as our tour guide for our Shanghai leg. Getting to know his backstory as a youth and the events that affected him over the past few decades, was very informative. It opened my eyes and corrected a few misconceptions I had on China. Very knowledgeable on the local history and held our attention throughout our time. Added surprise, Alain was able to communicate and spoke in English or French with no effort. We hit it off extremely well as his personality and age were similar to mine. We still keep in touch.... An unforgettable trip in Shanghai — Celine made all the difference!

We had an absolutely incredible day exploring Shanghai with our guide Celine, and we couldn’t recommend this tour more highly. From the moment we met her, Celine’s warmth, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the city set the tone for an amazing experience.

Zhujiajiao Water Town was a highlight we didn’t expect — Celine navigated us through the winding canals and ancient stone bridges like a local, sharing fascinating stories about the town’s history that we never would have discovered on our own. She knew exactly the best spots to explore and the right times to visit to avoid the crowds.

At Yu Garden and the Bazaar, Celine’s insider knowledge was invaluable — she helped us find authentic gems among the stalls and gave us the cultural context that made everything so much more meaningful. And the Bund at the end of the day? Breathtaking. Celine timed our visit perfectly.

What truly set this tour apart was Celine’s genuine passion for sharing her city. She was attentive to our pace, answered every question thoughtfully, and made us feel like we were exploring Shanghai with a knowledgeable friend rather than on a generic tour. We had the best experience exploring Shanghai thanks to our amazing tour guide, Ryan. From the moment we started, Ryan was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire day feel effortless and fun.



As we visited places like Yu Garden and walked along The Bund, Ryan didn’t just guide us—he brought each location to life with stories, history, and little details we would have completely missed on our own.



Our day exploring Shanghai was the perfect mix of history, culture, and modern city vibes. We started at the historic Former HSBC Building, which gave us a glimpse into Shanghai’s colonial past. Walking along The Bund was definitely a highlight—the skyline views across the river are unreal and such a cool contrast between old and new Shanghai.



Next, we went to the Yu Garden, which honestly felt like stepping into another world. The traditional architecture, koi ponds, and peaceful pathways made it one of the most beautiful spots we visited. Right outside, we wandered through the lively Yuyuan Bazaar—super vibrant with tons of local snacks, souvenirs, and energy everywhere.



We also stopped by the Shanghai History Museum, which helped bring everything together and gave us a deeper understanding of how the city evolved over time.



To wrap up the day, we shopped and ate at Yuyuan Garden Shopping Mall—the perfect place to grab souvenirs and try some local food. Overall, it was such a fun and well-rounded day, with a great balance of sightseeing, shopping, and experiencing the culture. Less

This was our first visit to Shanghai, and we were eager to experience some of the city’s top highlights. After reading many positive reviews, we decided to book this tour—and it exceeded our expectations.



Jackie Zheng was our guide, and Mr. Goo was our driver over the two days. Although we had some rain on the first day, we still made the most of it and were able to see a great deal. The weather improved on the second day, allowing us to fully enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Bund.



Jackie was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing rich history throughout the tour and patiently answering all of our questions. He even went out of his way to take us to a toy store so we could find gifts for our grandsons, which we truly appreciated.
