Kevin was excellent as a guide, very knowledgable about Chinese history and culture, providing brilliant story telling and commentary about all the places we visited. During the preparation of the trip, I was in contact with Kina Lu, who turned out to be exceptional in assisting me: she suggested booking an early check-in at the hotel since I would be arriving in Beijing at 5 a.m., and this allowed me to handle the jet lag smoothly. She also provided me with all the information I needed to get around in China.
During the tour, I greatly appreciated the organization, the quality of the service, and the professionalism of the guides.
Kevin guided us in Beijing, Carol in Xi’an, and Monica in Guilin.
They are all very skilled, knowledgeable, and always available. It is not easy to navigate the massive crowds of tourists in China and find people who speak good English. During the trip, the guides kept the group united and always managed to spark interest with their explanations.
Carol, in particular, proved to be far above expectations thanks to her maturity, her ability to anticipate the needs of the travelers, her knowledge of history and the places we visited, and her skill in leading the group through complex and challenging sites.
In conclusion, I confirm the stellar reviews that already characterize Travel China Guide, and I'am glad that the trip exceeded my expectations. Less

Lawrence LWonderful History of XisnOur 2 days visit to Xi’an was a great experience and full of history. We visited the Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the City Wall and Muslin Street. All admissions were included.
The restaurants and food that was recommended was also fantastic. Our guide was wonderful, she has lots of experience and knowledge about the history of Xi’an. She is a great guide and provided us a wonderful experience. Thank you for that.
Cindy LXian Terracotta Warrior MuseumBeijing and Xian were truly memorable. I especially liked Xian. because of our amazing tour guide Carol. She is very knowledgeable and super caring. She took us to the terracotta warrior museum and gave us a detailed explanation of the history. I got to make my terracotta warrior. The next day she took us to the city park and we practiced taichi with the master. She arranged the most delicious lunches with local flavors. I would like to visit Xi’an again and hope to see Carol again.

Helen guided us through the beautiful Yu Garden after which we had some free time to explore the adjacent shops. Then we were driven to the Bund area for an hour long boat tour on the Huangpu river. Lunch was included at a very nice Chinese restaurant and we finished the day with some time in the Shanghai museum. An excellent day out with a very knowledgeable guide. Our accommodations were amazing. We stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the center of the city. We enjoyed a tour of Shanghai Tower which had an incredible view of the city. Day cruise, beautiful lunch, tea tasting and shopping helped round out our first day. The second day we made a drive to the famous Tongli Water Town. What a history lesson to be had! William BGreat Shanghai tour with HelenWe spent two days with Helen and could not have been more pleased. Helen is extremely knowledgeable and informative regarding the history and culture of Shanghai and made sure we saw all the important sights. She was always considerate of our interests and made sure our trip was as comfortable as possible. Travel China did an excellent job with arrangements and the prepaid meals were delicious and always more food than we could eat. Highly recommend this company and Helen.

Our guide, Monica, spoke excellent English and was very proactive in explaining the history and culture of Guilin to us. The tour company also catered well to our dietary requirements, which I appreciated. They also organised good quality hotels and a driver for us. The Li river cruise was also of high quality, and the scenery was beautiful. No negative experiences.

She asked me my intentions for that day and made everything to give me a complete tour of those hills and a relaxing walk through that scenery. Before reaching the train station we also had time for some walk in Guilin city center where she explained to me some nice features and past history of the city. Antonio SGreat Tour in GuilinWe visited Guilin attractions and Janet was our guide. The visited points were outstanding: the Reed Flute Cave, the downtown lakes and the Elephant Trunk Hill; the Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo; the villages of Jiuzian and Dashizhai. Our guide, Janet, was also outstanding: nice, precise, knowlageble and helpful, she added value to our cultural experience and pleasure to our trip.

It was a lot of fun seeing so many Giant Panda’s, some sleeping perched high in the trees, others eating and being playful. We had a fabulous time with the Pandas and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the day visiting the historical sites. Julie gave us a small gift of a fan which we decorated with calligraphy and pictures whilst we had traditional tea in peoples park. Philiplau1138Great Panda ExperienceWe have a wonderful time at the Panda reserve in Chengdu. Our guide Maggie was very delightful. We managed to see around 20 plus pandas in the reserve and observed one panda feeding and two fighting! The Jin Sha site museum was a welcome addition to our trips in terms of history and culture. Thank you Travel China Guide and also to Maggie, our tour guide. She was very informative and helpful.
