Day 1 Take flight from New Zealand to Kathmandu
Please take a flight to the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu by yourself. There are transfer flights every day from Oakland to Kathmandu. You can take Emirates EK449 20:30/05:35, stay over in Dubai for 6 hours and 55 minutes, and then take EK2155 12:30/18:35, with a total journey of 28 hours and 20 minutes to get to Kathmandu.
Day 2 Arrival in Kathmandu & Tour to Durbar Square
Welcome to Kathmandu to join the Nepal tour packages from New Zealand! Upon your arrival at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, our guide will be waiting for you at the airport exit and transfer you to the well selected hotel. After check-in, if time permits, our guide will show you around the Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa.

Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, remains splendid legacy of classical architecture of Nepal. With lofty white dome and glittering spire, Swayambhunath Stupa is the most ancient and mysterious of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu valley.

Day 3 Half-day Kathmandu tour & Drive to Nagarkot for sunset (32 Km; 1 hour)
This morning, our Nepal tour packages from New Zealand will start with Boudhanath Stupa and Patan Durbar Square. Boudhanath Stupa is the largest stupa in Nepal. Patan Durbar Square highlights its ancient royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided. After the visits, we'll drive for about one hour to Nagarkot. We could see eight mountain ranges from Nagarkot including Annapurna, and Everest. You can enjoy the marvelous sunset view over the snow-capped mountains. Tonight, we will stay at a local lodge in Nagarkot.

Day 4 Nagarkot sunrise & Bhaktapur tour
On the fourth day of the Nepal tours from New Zealand, get up early to see the glorious sunrise of the Himalayas. And then we will get back to the lodge to enjoy a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, take the car to Bhaktapur to visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Dattatreya Temple. In the later afternoon, we'll visit Pashupatinath Temple that is the largest temple complex in Nepal with gilded roofs and exquisite wood carvings.

Day 5 Tours around Kathmandu
After breakfast in the morning, drive for 22 km (14 miles) to visit Dakshinkali Temple. It's one of the major Hindu temples in Nepal, dedicated to Lord Shiva's wife - Goddess Kali. And then move forward to visit Kirtipur Village and Chobhar Gorge. Endowed with beautiful natural environment, Kirtipur Village offers some of the finest views of sprawling hills while you wandering around its streets. In the evening, we will arrange you a Nepalese dinner with the culture dance show.

Day 6 Departure from Kathmandu, Take flight back to New Zealand
Today your 6-day Nepal tour packages from New Zealand will come to a successful conclusion. After breakfast, the driver will escort you to the airport to catch your flight. You can return to Oakland by Qatar QR651 at 20:45/22:50, stop over at Doha for 3 hours and 45 minutes, and take QR920 at 02:35/04:05, with a total flight time of 25 hours and 45 minutes.
