Hong Kong - Shijiazhuang High Speed Train

At present, two pairs of bullet trains are shuttling from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station to Shijiazhuang Station and vice versa on a daily basis. A single trip requires about 7.5 - 9 hours and passengers need to spend CNY 1,732 (USD 244) on a first class seat and CNY 1,083 (USD 153) on a second class seat.

Apart from taking the direct trains, passengers can choose to transfer in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, or Wuhan in order to have more choices.

 Hong Kong - Guangzhou
Known as Guangzhou - Shenzhen - Hong Kong High Speed Railway, it is as long as 142 km (88 mi). 5 railway stations are along the line, including Qingsheng, Humen, Guangmingcheng, Shenzhen North and Futian.

Passengers from Hong Kong can Take MTR to Lok Ma Chau Station so as to reach Futian Port in Shenzhen firstly. After passing the port, they are advised to take Shenzhen Subway Line 4 from there and get off at Hui Zhan Zhong Xin Station. After that, they can walk around 600 meters (660 yards) to reach Futian Railway Station where there are 2 pairs of bullet trains shuttling between Futian and Shijiazhuang daily with a second class seat ticket costing CNY 902.5 - 942.5 (USD 125 - 132).

As there is no direct flight between Hong Kong and Shijiazhuang, and a transfer in other cities may take more than 7 hours, it is also suggested to take a flight from Shenzhen to Shijiazhuang. With around 10 pairs of flights every day, passengers only need about 3 hours for a single journey. However, the cost is also pretty high, ranging from CNY 800 - 3,000 (USD 110 - 420).
