Festivals
Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival
Starting from December and lasting for one month, the Harbin International
Ice and Snow Festival is listed in one of the world four ice and
snow festivals. During the festival, visitors can not only enjoy
the beautiful snowy scenery, but also participate in a sort of
sports on ice. Among them, the annual winter swimming draws a
good many visitors. The highlight of the festival is the ice lantern
and snow sculpture exhibition.
Harbin Summer Music Concert
The Harbin summer Music Concert has become a traditional event
of Harbin from 1961 and attains a high reputation for Harbin.
A large number of visitors from both home and abroad are attracted
by this world famous pageant held once every two years. During
the concerts, from the 6th to the 15th, August, a variety of colorful
performances can be enjoyed.
Harbin International Fair for Trade and Economic Cooperation
The annual Harbin International Fair for Trade and Economic Cooperation
has been successfully held seventeen times in Harbin from the
15th to 21st, June. The economic development of Heilongjiang Province
and the surrounding provinces of northwest China is promoted enormously
by this renowned international fair.
