Mr.Sandy replied:
There are hotels in the Bamboo Sea and the hotel price is not too high. 300RMB for 3 star hotel. The scenic area is big, suggest you stay one night and rent a van if tired of walking all around.

From Chengdu to the Bamboo Sea, you can take the special tour bus at the New South Gate Bus Station in Chengdu. It is located at No. 57, Linjiang Road. There is only one bus each day. It leaves at 07:30. The ticket is around CNY76. It can take you to get to the west entrance to the bamboo sea scenic area. Besides, you may take a long-distance bus at Chengdu Wuguiqiao Bus Station to Yibin first. After arriving in Yibin, you can take the Bus 3 or 4 to get to Yibin Nan’an Bus Station. Nan’an Bus Station provides many buses to go to the Bamboo Sea. The ticket is around CNY15. By the way, the ticket cost would be higher during holidays.
