Anqing City, also known as Yicheng, lies in the south west of Anhui province and is the primary city in the lower Yangtze River Valley. Anqing is honored as the National Garden City, the Famous Historical and Cultural City and is a member of the privileged group of outstanding Chinese tourist cities. The reason for Anqing's superior position becomes clear when you consider that it provides communication links to three other provinces and also connects the economic powerhouses of Shanghai and Wuhan. It also provides a terminal harbor for many heavy cargo ships docking from the Yangtze River.

First - Second day: Anqing - Mt. Tianzhu
Mt. Tianzhu is located in Qianshan county of Anqing city and the area of this whole scenic spot is more than 82.46 square kilometers. Due to its climate, the mountain is home to many interesting botanical and zoological phenomena and also has many sites of cultural and historical interest.

Mt. Tianzhu Scenic Area includes Sanzhu Temple, Mazhu Hut, and Main Peak, Tiger-Head Cliff, Nine Wells River, Grand Dragon Nest and Longtan River. The height of the main peak is 1488 meters and provides a great view of the surrounding area. The entrance fee to Mt. Tianzhu Scenic Spot is CNY120.00 per person and a cable car is available. There is the direct tourist bus from Anqing to Mt. Tianzhushan. It is suggested that you stay in Mt. Tianzhu for one night, as there are many hotels at the entrance to the scenic area. If you prefer to stay on the mountain itself, we would like to recommend the Tianzhu Hotel. Third day: Anqing - Mt. Fushan - Tong Cheng Confucian Temple
Mt. Fushan lies in Zongyang County, Anqing city and there are many direct buses from Anqing to Zongyang. It is also very easy to get to Mt. Fushan by bus. Mt. Fushan covers an area of 15 square kilometers and its highest peak stands at 165 meters. Mt. Fushan was formed by volcanic material and its most attractive features are the beautiful landscape and some 480 ancient rock carvings. The entrance fee is CNY20.00 per person.

In the afternoon, we will visit the famous Tongcheng Confucian Temple. We suggest that you charter a car to take you from Mt. Fushan to Tongchen, as there is no direct bus available. Tongchen Confucian Temple is in the center of Tongchen city, adjacent to the square and the bustling shopping area of Heping Road. The Confucian Temple became a sacrificial architectural complex during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The beginning constructed at Yuan Dynasty in 1914, until now it was already repaired for 19 times. The Confucian Temple takes the Dacheng Palace as a center, taking the north and south middle line as the axis of symmetry. Its main buildings are Gate Tower, Palace Wall, Zhuanyuan Bridge, Earth Temple and Dacheng Gate. The entrance fee is CNY5.00 per person.
