Area Code & Zip Code

Area code is several digital numbers used to group telephone numbers (mobile phone number excluded) by geographic areas. Area code usually indicates certain geographic areas, such as 10 stands for Beijing and 29 stands for Shaanxi. It is used when dialing a number outside the code area.

Country code and exit code is used when you dialing an international number (both fixed and mobile phone number).

Zip code is the postal code used when mailing a letter. The zip code of China is 6 digital numbers. Note that there is no zip code in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

In October last I ordered 2 I Phones, 2 Blackberry phones, a Nintendo DSI and a Nintendo Wi, from a company called Xiamen Unipower Trading Co. Ltd. I paid $1059 by bank transfer on a Pro Forma inoice.

Since then I have had 3 tracking numbers, and three parcels each containing cheap plastic jewellery, but no sign of the goods that I ordered and paid for.

I have written to the MD of the company - Mr. Lai Jiping and the legal rep. Mr. Qiu Jiqin but they have not responed. I have asked for my money back but no response.

I now want to bring charges against this company. Any ideas please?

Kind regards

K. Carney

I am a bit confused. Why not buy iphones and blackberry phones in UK? Just because they are cheaper in China? As far as I know, Blackberry phones are not offcially sold in China. Just be ware of online shopping. You see, many guys here have been cheated.

I purchased a size 8 tall classic UGG boot from UGGWIDE.COM in Dec. The boots I got were knock offs and too small. I have several pair of UGGS and size 8 is what I always get so I know these were not a true UGG size 8. I emailed them using 3 different email addresses given on their website but never got a response. I paid with Pay Pal but they said since I used my checking account not my credit card there was nothing Pay Pal could do. They said even if I paid with a credit card Pay Pal would not refund my money they said I had to file a complaint with the credit card company. If the boots were maybe a size 9 they would have fit, I actually thought the boots were nice, just too small.

hi, do you know why online stores in China doesn't like paypal as payment method? They all say "paypal is big trouble in China" and want to get bank transfer instead. They say if you order big quantity they can get paypal, but for small quantity they want bank transfer which doesn't make sense to me.
Please help.
Thanks
