Mr.cindy(cn) replied:
There is no direct train between urumchi and guangzhou. Take K596(Urumchi--Nanjing West)at Urumchi Station and then change K228 (Lanzhou--Guangzhou) at Lanzhou Station. It may take you at least 30 hours and the cost is about 700 yuan for hard sleeper. If you want to travel by air, the cost is about 2000 yuan for economic class.

how go to Guangdong from Beijing
Jun. 28,2009 19:55
Mr.yina(cn) replied:
From Beijing to Guangzhou, you can take flight or train. The price for air is 1700 Yuan and it may cost you 2 hours. If you want to go there by air, you can order ticket from a travel agent and it will save you a lot of money as you will get the biggest discount. Train is relatively cheaper. the cost for hard berth is 450 yuan and soft berth is 675 yuan. It may cost you about 21 hours. Have a good time!

Can anyone tell me the distance from Chengdu to Chonqqing.
Thankyou.
Jun. 26,2009 04:33
Ms.Evelyn(China) replied:
The railway connecting Chengdu Railway Station and Chongqing North Railway Station is about 338 kilometers long. By train, it takes about 4 to 6 hours to get to the destination. If you want to save more time, you may take the T trains. By T trains, it only takes you less than 4 hours. The T trains include T8808, T8884, T8900 and T8816. Additionally, the long-distance bus station in Chengdu provides the buses to Chongqing.

A friend and I are going to china to purchase handbags and accessories. Where are the best handbag factories/manufactures located? We live in the US (Arizona). What city should we fly into-Hong Kong? Where would you recommend staying and what kind of transportation would we have available to and from each city (from where we would stay to the manufacturing cities)? We are in the beginning stages of planning our trip. any and all information would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Mr.yina(cn) replied:
You must be very excited! Actually, Hong Kong is a perfect place to shopping. There is an international airport called Phoenix Sky Harbor, right? You can fly from PHX, but there seems no direct flight, you may need to change another once. Enjoy your time in the shooping paradise--hong kong. Besides, hong kong is near Guangzhou which is another good shopping place. Have a good time in China!

Mr. Lian,
I have successfully got into tiananmen east square. from sanyuanqiao station to guamao of line 1 then to tiananmen east. Thank you for your help! im there at about 15 minutes only. its arround 8pm. so i went back to hotel soon. im fearing the subway would close. what time does the subway close? and one more thing, my friend told me, there are near bars or clubs arround the tiananmen.. would you kindly advise me?
thank you
Jun. 16,2009 21:18
Mr.lian(cn) replied:
Hi, generally speaking, the subway will close at 10:00 at night, but some will operate untill 12:00. I think you should arrange your time and go home before 10:00. Or it will be a little late and unsafe. As for the night bars, cause i am not interested in that, i' m sorry that i can not give you some suggestion. But i find that the website has some useful tips for nightlife, you can have a look. http://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/beijing/nightlife.htm
Glad to help you if you have any other questions!!
