Itinerary : 6 Days of Guiyang - Zhenyuan - Wuyang River - Shi Bing - Kaili

Qinglong Cave, Zhenyuan

After you arrive in Guiyang, please head for the railway station to buy the train ticket from Guiyang to Zhenyuan to be ready for the next day's trip in advance. After that, if time permits, you can hike about 2 hours to visit the Hongfu Buddhist Monastery of Qianling mountain or the Jiaxiu Pavilion with 400 years' history in Guiyang city. Meanwhile, you have another choice - take the No. 1 bus to stroll around the city and stop at New Lukou and walk towards the Diamond Plaza. There you will find a local snacks street. You can enjoy yourself there. Find the Tongda hotel (0851- 8213888) near to the railway station to stay overnight.

The second day, after breakfast take an morning train K112 1024/1424 from Guiyang to Zhen Yuan country, which is intituled as "Water Town". There lives many minorities, such as Buyi, Tong, Tujia and Miao minorities. After 4 hours' journey, you will reach this town. You can stay an overnight at Liu Hulan rest house, whose room rate is 40 yuan per room. After getting everything arranged, go out to have meals and stroll around the old town and take pictures there to keep the bright and clean environment there. You cannot miss its night sightseeing in the evening, either.

The third day, after breakfast, you can hike 0.5 kilometers from the country center to visit the national nature reserve - Qing Long Cave, which is located in the Zhonghe Hill in the east of this country. There you just need to spend 35 yuan to see our historical architecture. You also can visit the ancient town with thousands of years' history, pass through the old alley, visit the local family to learn about their peace and live life. In the afternoon, return to Zhen Yuan town and have a walk leisurely around this old town after dinner. As for the dinner, you can taste the local rice bean curd and sticky cake, etc.

Wuyang River, Zhenyuan

The fourth day, you cannot miss one interesting landscape in Zhenyuan - Wu Yang River, the national places of scenic beauty. You can take a bus there, which is just 17 kilometers from the center country. The total charge of the landscape area is 50 yuan, including the boating fare. Boating in the river and enjoy the heavenly landscape all around, you may immerse the hills and water there. The boating usually takes you 3 hours or so. After enjoying the marvelous landscape there, you can take a bus to Shibing at the bus stop, which is sited outside of the landscape gate. It takes you just less than 30 minutes there. The first sight in Shibing you cannot miss is the famous Yuntai hill located at the Yuntai mountain, which is in the north of Chengguan town in Shibing country. The admission fare is usually 30 yuan per person. You can enjoy not only the Cultural landscape but also natural landscape. You can have a rest at the Shibing government rest house with 20-30 yuan per night.

If you are interested in drift, you certainly cannot miss Shanmu river. On the fifth day, you can experience a wonderful drift. Before there, please get ready some clothes and shoes along with you for changing after the drift. Upon reach the area, you have to walk about 10 minutes to arrive at the exact drifting place. One thing also needs your attention is that you should make some costly things water-proof packaged before drifting, or it will be wetted and broken during the drift. Arrange your accommodation in the small town tonight. Besides, please take enough snacks along with you, for the food in the landscape cannot be much appreciated. Turn back to your hotel.

The last day, go back to Zhenyuan and there you can take a coach to Kaili city - the capital city of Guizhou Southeast Autonomous Prefecture. The whole journey lasts around 2.5 hours. Visit the traditional way of paper-making and a Long-skirt Miao Village if you wish. Leave Kaili city as your schedule.
