Welcome to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival you will be warmly greeted by our guide at the airport exit who will transfer you to the hotel. Take a short break in the hotel before starting the tour by enjoying the sunset from the top of Mount Phousi. It takes a lot of energy to climb up the mountain but the 360 degree view of Luang Prabang from the summit makes it worthwhile. After enjoying the marvelous sunset and if weather is nice the lively night market is waiting for you at the foot of the mountain. Spend some time at the market before making your way back to the hotel.

Day 3 Luang Prabang
If you are interested, get up early in the morning and observe the alms giving ceremony at around 05:30. It is a good experience if you want to understand the local culture better. A row of old and young orange-clad monks from various monasteries will pass along the main road - Sisavangvong Road to receive food from the believers. You will feel the local people's piety towards their religion. Later, visit the morning Phousi Market to see local people's daily life. Back to the hotel for breakfast and then the rest of the morning is free for you to explore on your own. In the afternoon, visit some local villages of Lao minority groups at Ban Ouay first, and then on to Khouang Si Waterfalls, which are hailed as one of the top waterfalls in South East Asia. Enjoy your time swimming and playing in the water and walking along the forest trails. Drive back to Luang Prabang with a short stop at Ban Phanom village on the way. Then continue the city tour to Wat Xieng Thong. Located by the Mekong River, Wat Xieng Thong is the largest and most magnificent one in Luang Prabang.
