Day 1 Arrival in Cairo

Welcome to Egypt! After your flight landing in Cairo International Airport, our local representative will pick you up on time and send you to the hotel. After helping you check in, he or she will leave, so you may spend the rest time of the day as you like. You may either have a good rest in your room or get familiar with the city. Day 2 Saqqara, Dahshur & Memphis
Visit Step Pyramid, Tomb of Kagemni, the Imhotep Museum, Bent Pyramid, Red Pyramid and Memphis. (B+L+D)
After having breakfast at your hotel, you will have an orientation meeting with our local representative in Egypt. With your guide, you are going to reach Saqqara to visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the oldest pyramid in Egypt, the Tomb of Kagemni and the Imhotep Museum.

Lunch will be served at a local fancy restaurant. Next, we will head to Dahshur and visit the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid. Finally, we will conclude the exploration of Memphis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dinner will be arranged at your hotel.

Day 3 A Desert Trip to Fayoum from Cairo
A full day Fayoum Oasis tour including the 4X4 safari to Wadi El Hitan, Magic Lake and Qasr Qarun Temple. (B+L+D)
Today is dedicated to a full day desert tour to Fayoum. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Fayoum in an air-conditioned coach, a drive of about 1.5 hours. On arrival, you will have a 4X4 desert safari to Wadi El Hitan, also known as Whale Valley, followed by a visit to Magic Lake, where we will leave you some free time for swimming or sand boarding.

After lunch, we will visit Qasr Qarun Temple, it is the only intact building preserved in the ancient town of Dionysias, a famous caravan city of the 3rd century AD. The exterior is as plain as a square earthen box, but the interior is like a complex maze with corridors, secret rooms, and stairs… We’ll return to Cairo after the tour, and then you can enjoy your dinner at your hotel.

Day 4 Cairo Highlights of Pyramids of Giza
Visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Including the Inside Visit), the Pyramid of Khafre and Menkaure and the Great Sphinx. (B+L+D)
This morning, you will be guided to have a two-hour Pyramids tour in Giza Plateau, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure and the Great Sphinx.

Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant. After the free afternoon at your own leisure, enjoy dinner served at your hotel.

Day 5 Cairo Fly to Luxor
Morning flight to Luxor. Visit Karnak Temple Complex and Luxor Temple. Board the ship. (B+L+D)
You will be transferred to Cairo airport to take a morning flight to Luxor. Our local guide will pick you up from the airport and help you board your 5-star luxury 7-day Nile Cruise.

You will explore the east bank of Luxor today. The highlight will be the largest temple complex in Egypt, Karnak Temple. Standing in the hall supported by 134 huge pillars, you will marvel at the wisdom and greatness of the ancient Egyptians for sure. Lunch will be on the ship.

In the evening, the guide will lead you to see Luxor Temple, Sphinx Road, the huge statue of Ramesses II and The Hatshepsut Obelisk one by one. Dinner on the ship.

Day 6 Nile Cruise: Luxor to Kom Ombo
Visit Valley of Kings, Colossi of Memnon & Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Sail to Kom Ombo. (B+L+D)
Luxor is rich in historical relics and reputed as an open-air museum, so we will spend more time exploring it. Today, we will focus on its west bank. The first stop we are going to visit will be the Valley of the Kings. In this quiet valley in the desert, 62 tombs of ancient pharaohs have been found and we will visit three of them. Their highlights are the well-preserved murals and carvings.

Next we will visit the Colossi of Memnon, the two huge stone statues of King Amenhotep III. The last stop will be the grand Hatshepsut Temple built for the most powerful female pharaoh in Egypt’s history.

Afterwards, the cruise will continue to Kom Ombo with stunning views of Nile landscape. Today's breakfast, lunch and dinner will be international buffet, served onboard.

Day 7 Nile Cruise: Kom Ombo to Aswan
Visit Kom Ombo Temple; Continue your cruise to Aswan. Enjoy the Galabeya party. (B+L+D)
Today, we will go ashore and walk for about 5 minutes to visit the Kom Ombo Temple. It is made up of two same temples dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek and Eagle God Horus. You will see the mummified crocodiles and artifacts in the museum. Afterwards, we’ll go back and set sail towards Aswan, the destination today.

In the evening, you will enjoy a “galabeya party” with a traditional oriental dinner. You would be required to wear a “galabeya” when coming the party, it is an Egyptian traditional garment which you can buy it in any of a street market onshore or even onboard. A local entertainment with traditional dances and Egyptian music is usually followed after dinner. The ship will dock in Aswan tonight.

Day 8 Nile Cruise: Aswan City Highlights
Visit Unfinished Obelisk, the Temple of Philae and Nubian Village. (B+L+D)
After breakfast, the guide will escort you to explore Aswan. The first stop will be the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest obelisk in the world. Next, we will visit the most beautiful Temple in Egypt, Temple of Philae. As Temple of Philae is located on an island, we need to take a motor ferry to get there in about 15 minutes. While on the ferry, do not miss the panoramic view of the temple.

Later, we’ll go back to have lunch. At around 14:00, we will continue to visit Nubian Village, a great place to learn the history and culture of Nubia.

Day 9 Nile Cruise: Visit Abu Simbel Temples
Morning trip to Abu Simbel Temples. Back to Cruise and Free afternoon at leisure. (B+L+D)
In the morning, our guide and the driver will pick you up from the cruise ship and drive for about 3.5 hours to Abu Simbel. During the visit, the guide will tell you many stories and secrets about this legendary temple. The Temple of Ramesses II and the temple of his wife Queen Nefertari, also called Temple of Hathor, are the masterpieces of ancient Egyptian architecture. They were carved out of rock cliffs, looking like huge carving works. Later, you will be escorted to go back the ship and enjoy your leisure time on board for the rest of this day.

Day 10 Nile Cruise: Aswan to Luxor via Edfu
Sail from Aswan to Edfu, Visit Edfu Temple; Sail to Luxor. (B+L+D)
You cruise will arrive in Edfu in the afternoon. We will get off the ship and take the horse cart to visit Temple of Edfu, the best preserved ancient temple in Egypt. Also known as Temple of Horus, it’s dedicated to Horus, the God of Sky who has a human body but a falcon head.

That's all of today's sightseeing. Go back to the ship and enjoy your free time. You may enjoy sun bathing on the deck, swim in the pool or do some exercise in the gym. If interested, you may also spend some time in the bar, to enjoy a cup of drink while listening to the relaxing music.

Day 11 Fly from Luxor to Cairo
Disembarkation, Take a morning flight from Luxor to Cairo, Visit National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. (B+L+D)
In the morning, you will check out the cruise after having breakfast. Then, we’ll transfer to Luxor airport for the flight back to Cairo.

You will have a lunch in a local restaurant in Cairo. Afterwards, we’ll proceed to visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization where you will see 22 royal mummies including the mummies of King Ramesses II, Queen Hatshepsut, King Seti I, and Queen Ahmose-Nefertari.

Then, you will check in at the luxury 5-star Four Seasons Hotel in the central Cairo, and you will stay there for three nights. Dinner in your hotel.

Day 12 Alexandria Highlights Tour from Cairo
Transfer to Alexandria, visit Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa, Citadel of Qaitbay, the National Museum and the famous Bibliotheca Alexandria. (B+L+D)
We will drive for 2.5 hours to Alexandria next to the Mediterranean Sea by an air-conditioned coach. The first site today will be Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa, which is accessible with spiral stairs in the 3.5 m (11.5 ft) underground. Afterwards, we will get a look at Citadel of Qaitbay, Alexandria’s landmark, from outside.

Lunch will be in a seafood restaurant on the seashore. Finally, you will be guided to the National Museum and the famous Bibliotheca Alexandria, commemorating the Library of Alexandria. In the evening, we will return to Cairo. Dinner is in your hotel’s restaurant.

Visit Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Saladin and Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. (B+L+D)
After breakfast, we will go to visit the most famous museum in Egypt, the Egyptian Museum, where the gold mask of Tutankamun and many other treasures are displayed.

Next, we will head to the Citadel of Saladin built by national hero Saladin against eastward Crusaders. Mosque of Muhammad Ali is the main architecture in this 12-century castle, where we can have a panoramic view of the city. Khan El-Khalili Bazaar would be the last stop today, which is the oldest and biggest bazaar in Egypt.

● Today’s lunch is arranged in Naguib Mahfouz Café in Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. This authentic restaurant, opened in 1989, was operated by the Oberoi group, offering traditional Egyptian and oriental dishes.
