When is the Best Time to Travel to New Zealand?

New Zealand is beautiful all year round, but the best time to take a New Zealand tour package is during the summer months of December to February, when the climate is pleasant with average temperatures of 20-25°C (68-77°F). Spring from September to November and autumn from March to May are also good time to visit New Zealand as the weather is still warm, but fewer crowds. They are ideal for hiking and many other outdoor activities. If you like skiing, you can come in winter, June to August.

Do I Need a Visa for My New Zealand Tour Packages?

Yes. All the visitors should obtain a visa to New Zealand except for the citizens from Australia, UK and other countries who have a visa wavier agreement with New Zealand. For those visa-free tourists, they just need to get an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) before travel.

If you apply for a visa, you can choose to handle the visa application online which is much easier or submit documents to a local New Zealand embassy. Please make sure your passport is valid for more than 3 months before your scheduled departure date from New Zealand.
