Day 1 Arrival in Cusco, Pick up & Cusco city tour
Welcome to Cusco! Our English-speaking guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to hotel. Then have a walking tour around Cusco city accompanied by the guide. We'll stroll in Plaza de Armas and visit the Cusco Cathedral, the most outstanding colonial architecture. In the end we will arrive at the last destination of today - San Blas which features handicrafts, galleries, and historic sites. After the visit, return to the hotel.

Day 2 Cusco Tour, Take train to Aguas Calientes
The driver and the guide will pick you up at the hotel. What we are going to visit first is the Inca site Sacsayhuaman with magnificent stone wall buildings. Later, we will walk to the center of the ceremony Temple of the Moon and the water temple Tambomachay before driving to the train station of Ollantaytambo. Lunch is self-paid. The guide will be glad to recommend proper restaurants to you according to your preference.

After lunch, the guide will help you board the train bound for Aguas Calientes - the town of Machu Picchu. It takes about 1.5 hours on the way. Upon arrival, the hotel staff will pick you up and lead you to the hotel near the train station.

Day 3 Tour to Machu Picchu
Today the guide will lead you to take a bus for about 30 minutes to visit the Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. As the largest remains of the Inca Empire, it is also designated as a UNESCO's World Heritage site. The guide will introduce its history during the 2-hour visiting. Afterwards, the guide will leave the rest time of the day for your independent visit. The guide will show you the way to the sacred Huayna Picchu Peak, where you can go by yourself to enjoy the stunning bird's-eye view of Machu Picchu. You can pack some food beforehand for lunch. Finally, go to the bus station which the guide would show you beforehand, take a bus to Aguas Calientes, and walk to the hotel.

Day 4 Take train Back to Ollantaytambo, Tour in Sacred Valley
In the morning you need to walk to the train station on your own and return to Ollantaytambo by train. Upon arrival, the guide and the driver will pick you up and escort you to visit the Inca ruins in the nearby village. When you walk on the traditional streets at the village, you will see many buildings full of historical atmosphere. Then we'll reach Urubamba Village for a lunch buffet.

Our next destination is the Maras Salt Mines where more than 3,000 white salt fields cover half of the mountain, showing a spectacular scene. A visit to the Moray highlighting concentric terraces is the last spot today. We will stay at the hotel near Urubamba Village tonight.

Day 5 Enjoy Chinchero Tour, Transfer back to Cusco & Local visit
Today we will start with a visit to Chinchero, the hometown of Peruvian weaving. We'll visit the main square to see the well-preserved Inca walls and the beautiful Colonial Chruch. Later, we will learn how to wave a cloth or hat at a local textile center. Afterwards, we will travel back to Cusco in about 40 minutes and check in a local hotel. You need to have lunch by yourself. Free advices are available.

In the afternoon, we will have a glimpse into local people's life at San Pedro Market and taste local snacks if you like. Continue to visit Qorikancha (the Temple of Sun), the product of the collision between Inca culture and Spanish colonial culture.

Day 6 Airport See-off
You will see an end to the trip today. We will transfer you to the airport according to flight schedule and see you off. Have a pleasant trip home!
