The temperature at that time is comfortable. It is warm (it is still cold in March when I went to Shanghai early this year) and April good time to enjoy the outdoors. You may pay attention to Beijing Weather Report(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/climate/beijing.htm) and Shanghai Weather Report(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/climate/shanghai.htm) before leaving for them~

As far as I know, there is no India Hotel. Do you mean hotels providing Indian food? If so, most hotels offer buffet dinner, you may choose your preferred type by yourself.

No need to purchase a ticket or other thing. The grand Parade will be held at the Tiananmen Square. But, I think this region will be strictly controlled and crowded by people~

Around the Tiananmen Square, the traffic will be restricted due to the parade which celebrates the 60th anniversary of founding of PRC. You can watch the live program on TV.
