There are many Great Wall Relics of the Han and Ming Dynasties in Shandan Couty, Gansu Province. It looks spectacular in the vast fields. However, after centuries of weathering and rain erosion, especially the manmade damage, it is now in great danger. Some farmers dig big holes for rest, even cut some sections to take a shorter route. Along the wall, many fortress and towers were built in the old time. When no wars happen, people live there and make business with people who live on the other side of the Great Wall.
