Shaanxi Grand Mosque Pictures

Shaanxi Grand Mosque is the largest Moslem temple in Urumqi City which holds the capacity of a thousand people for praying.

As the biggest Islamic mosque in Urumqi, Shaanxi Grand Mosque is situated in the northern end of Jianzhong Road. Built with Chinese traditional brick and wooden material, its style is quite different from the other Islamic mosques in Urumqi. It was originally constructed in the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

Anyone from Malaysia interested to travel to Northern part of Xinjang from 11-09-09 to 21-09-09? Having difficulty to find enough people to travel with me.

Hi, I'm joining a local tour group going to Northern Xinjang departing on 5th Sept and returning on the 17th Sept.
