The Butterfly Spring is situated at the foot of the Yunnong Peak of the Cangshan Mountains in Dali, Yunnan Province. In the fourth or fifth lunar month of each year, the wild flowers on the Yunnong Peak blossom together with the scent from acacia trees lures thousands of butterflies to come to the spring.
