Day 2 Visit Čičmany Village and Oravský hrad
In the morning, we are going to drive for about 2 hours from the hotel to Čičmany Village, a small village hidden deep in the mountains of northern Slovakia. Similar to the fictional candy houses in Grimm's fairy tales, 136 black cabins in the village were decorated with white lime painted into different geometrical patterns similar to the traditional lace and embroidery in Slovak national costume. Our next stop will be Oravsky Hrad, the famous castle where the earliest vampire film Nosferatu was filmed in 1922. It is built on a rock by the Orava River and looks like an "eagle's nest", which will be a highlight of this best Slovakia tour. Later we will drive to eastern Slovakia and check in a hotel in High Tatras national park region for overnight stay.

Day 3 Trip to Spis Castle and small town Levoca
If the weather is nice in the morning, we plan to have a short hike to High Tatras. Then we will visit Spis Castle and Levoca. Spis Castle is not only the largest castle in Slovakia, but also one of the largest castles in Europe. It has also been listed as a UNESCO world heritage site and many Hollywood films about history have been shot there. The castle is closed to the public from November to March, so if our visit is during this period, we will admire the castle from the outside. After the tour, we will head to a medieval town next to the castle - Levoca, which is also listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Here, we will visit the gothic church of St. James and walk around the square. It usually will take 1.5-2 hours in Spis castle and 2-3 hours in Levoca. Finally after the sightseeing, go back to the hotel.

Day 4 Vlkolinec and Banská Štiavnica
Today the tourist guide will accompany you on a tour to Vlkolinec and Banska Štiavnica. Vlkolinec is a very well preserved countryside village hidden in the mountains. The wooden houses and bell tower can date back to 1770. Next we will drive through Low Tatras National Park to Banska Štiavnica, which is one of the most beautiful towns in Slovakia with the most interesting history. It is also a World Heritage Site. The ancient mining road coexists in harmony with the fashionable café and shops, attracting artists and romanticists from all over the world. Then we will drive back to Bratislava, check into the hotel and have a good rest.
