Guilin Car Rental FAQs
With picturesque mountains, clear waters, mysterious caves, pretty rocks and pastoral scenes, Guilin is recognized as one of the most naturally beautiful places on earth. To help independent travelers better take in the wonderful views by using our car rental service, we've put together some frequently asked questions as follows.

How far is the airport from Guilin downtown? How long does the drive take?
Guilin Liangjiang International Airport is located about 28km (17.4 miles) southwest of the city center, and the drive takes around 40 minutes.

How many railway stations does Guilin have?
There are two railway stations in Guilin, one is Guilin Railway Station (South Station) and the other is Guilin North Railway Station. The former mainly operates ordinary trains to/from other cities, while the latter operates bullet trains to/from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanning and a few ordinary ones to Beijing and Shanghai.

How far is it from Guilin to Yangshuo?
Yangshuo is about 65km (40 miles) with approximately 1.5 hours driving time from Guilin.

If we book your "One Day Li River Cruise Car Rental", will our driver escort us during the cruise to Yangshuo?
Our experienced chauffeur will pick you up from your Guilin hotel and transfer you to Zhujiang dock to board your cruise ship. Our chauffeur will continue to drive to Yangshuo dock. In the next 4 hours' sailing, you will enjoy the Li River scenery yourself. On arriving at Yangshuo dock, you will find the chauffeur is waiting for you. He will transfer you to the nearby village to admire the countryside views. Alternatively, you can have a leisure stroll on the West Street. Afterwards, he will drive you back to Guilin.

Does your "One Day Li River Cruise Car Rental" include the cruise ticket cost?
Our price is only for the car rental service, which does not include any admission fee or cruise ticket. We are happy to help you purchase the cruise ticket if you need.

How far is the Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces in Longsheng from Guilin? Is it possible to take a day trip there?
Longsheng is 80km (50 miles) from Guilin. It takes about 2.5 hours for a single way transfer, so one day is enough to visit this place and return to Guilin.

We are going to visit the Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces in December, is the scenery good at that time?
We do not suggest you visit the area from December to March because the rice terraces are covered by fog at times due to the abundant rainfall. The best time to visit the Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces is from April to mid-November.
