Brief Introduction

Austrian Airlines was set up on 30th September, 1957, and is made up of three parts: Austrian Airlines engages in the operation of scheduled flights, Austrian Arrows deals with regional flights and Lauda Air offers charter services. As a member of the Star Alliance (one of the three largest international airline alliances) since the year 2000, Austrian Airlines flies to over 130 destinations in 66 countries, most of which are European countries. It has more flights to Central and Eastern Europe than any other airline. Most airplanes used on its long-distance routes are Airbuses and Boeings. At all times, Austrian Airlines is committed to fulfilling passengers' requirements to the very highest standard.

The first Austrian flight to China took off on 28th March, 1995. Now a daily flight is operating to Beijing, the capital city of China.
