Cheung Chau, also called Dumbbell Island due to its outlook, is one of the famous attractions in Hong Kong. Cheung Chau Ferry Pier is the transportation hub for residences whose ferry service is provided by New World First Ferry Company. The island has two ferry routes in total – Cheung Chau to Central Piers Hong Kong and Cheung Chau to Peng Chau, covering Chi Ma Wan, Mui Wo, Peng Chau. As for the ferry, it offers both ordinary ferries and fast ferries with different fare.

You can take Bus Line NLB 23 from Sham Wat Road to Sham Wat Road and then transfer to NLB Route 1 to the Mui Wo Ferry Pier.

From Muiwo to Cheung Chau, there is available shuttle bus line.

I cannot see any direct ferry from Cheung Chau to Mui Wo.
To get to the airport, you can take a ferry to Central No.5 Pier, then walk for about 850 meters to Rumsey Street Connaught Road Central bus stop to take bus no.A11 to the airport.

Yes, the ferries depart at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 11:00, 15:00, 17:00, 19:00 from Tuen Mun to Tai O. It takes about HKD20-30 per person.
