Use Airport shuttle bus Line 5 to Globelink Hotel and walk a few minutes to Beijing Road. If at night, suggest you take a taxi then to the place you are heading for. It is too expensive to go direct by taxi and need to be make transfer and walk a lot by airport bus shuttle bus. The fare by airport shuttle taxi costs within 30RMB.

Will you take an international flight? If so, it is suggested that you check in a hotle close to the airport one day in advance. You may consider the Airport Hotel which is just one kilometer away from the airport and supplies shuttle bus for guests. The fare is about 200RMB/night. In this case, you could choose your hotel in downtown Guangzhou freely.
