1. Children under 1 year old don't need tickets, children from 1-5 years old (including 1 year old and 5 years old) use half-price tickets.

Departure Tax Refund

Passengers who have already check-in at port and taken ferry to Skypier can collect your refund in cash from Refund Counter at SkyPier after completing security screening, if they depart from Hong Kong Airport on the same day. The departure tax is HKD120.

Top 5 Tips

1. All passengers transfer between HKIA and the ports should have valid ferry tickets, valid air tickets with confirmed flight bookings for same day travel (including mid-night departures), valid travel documents and visas for your destination.

2. Ferries to Hong Kong Airport are only for passengers who aim to make a transfer at Hong Kong Airport.

3. For passengers leaving from Shekou Port, the duration between the ferry departure and the flight departure should be no shorter than 180min. The ferry boarding stops 30 minutes before the departure. Passengers need to buy the ferry ticket 60min prior to the ferry departure, and the flight and luggage check-in service stops 45min before the ferry departure.

4. Passengers from HKIA should arrive at the ferry ticket counter 1.5 hours before the ferry departure. For those without checked luggage, 1 hour is enough. The ticket counter is located at E2 of Arrival Level of HKIA.

5. Those depart from Fuyong Port should reach the port for check-in 60 minutes before the ferry departure and the check-in stops 15 minutes before the departure. The flight check-in and baggage service of some airlines stop 45 minutes before the ferry departure.

Baggage checkin process from HKIA to Shekou via Ferry (Vistara airlines)

Hello, I am an Indian citizen with chinese visa. I want to travel from HKIA to Shekou via ferry.
I am planning to take Vistara airlines(not a participating airline). How and Where will the baggage get checked in?

You should go to the ferry ticketing counter at Transfer Area E2 at least 1 hour in advance for your ticketing and luggage procedure. DO NOT go through HK immigration and reclaim your baggage.

Generally, there is no problem to book at the airport but booking in advance will be more convenient.

Check-in shekou port

If my airline is Lufthansa can I check in the port or I have to bring my suitcase in the boat with me ?

As I know, the Lufthansa doesn't offer check-in service at the ferry terminal and you have to bring the luggage with your in the boat.
