The Military Museum, which was opened in August 1960, is the first comprehensive military museum in China and one of the top ten buildings in the capital to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China. The cultural relics in the museum mainly reflect the military history of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the ancient and modern military history of the whole world. The characteristic cultural relics in the collection include weapons, military uniforms, badges, and military themed artworks.
The museum has four floors:
B1 (Basement Level): Displays Army weapons, including tanks, armored vehicles, anti-aircraft missiles, and wreckage from aircraft.
First Floor: The weapons hall exhibits Air Force equipment like bombers, fighter jets, missiles, and ships, as well as classic vintage cars.
Second Floor: Features different types of weapons and military gear. There are also six themed exhibition halls: Revolutionary War, Weapons, Light Weapons, Nuclear Technology & Peaceful Use, Missile Technology, and Military Technology.
Third Floor: Focuses on the history of the Korean War and military-themed art, such as oil paintings and sculptures.

You can see a marvelous dreamlike word made of crystal snow and ice. There are fairytale castles, labyrinths, snow carvings and ice sculptures in the shapes of animals and architecture of different styles. When the night falls, the Ice and Snow World is even more charming with dazzling lights.
Apart from appreciating the ice and snow scenery, you can enjoy a series of performances by artists from different countries. The super difficult acrobatics, ballet, waltz, and orchestra on ice will definitely leave you a deep impression. The enthusiastic dance will drive away the coldness and warm up audiences’ hearts.

Tips:
1. There is no restaurant inside the museum, you may bring your own snacks and water.
2. Lighters, selfie sticks, and tripods are not allowed.
3. There are 3 free stamp stations located at the information desk, book café, and post office. If your kids enjoy collecting stamps, remember to bring a notebook.
4. All interactive experiences require reservations via the museum's WeChat official account at least 1 hour in advance, with very limited availability.
