Maldives Island Hopping Tour

After you land at Velana International Airport (MLE) in Male, our guide will escort you to the guesthouse in Hulhumale and help you check in. If you get here before 17:00, there will be some time left for you to enjoy a cup of coffee on the beach, which is a good start to fit in Maldivians' lifestyle.

Today's Maldives island hopping tour begins with Hulhumale city sightseeing. In the morning, our guide will lead you to see the lively fish market and local fair, during which you will know how much the inhabitants benefit from the seafood resources. Next, to know Maldives' Islamic background deeper, we will pay a visit to the President Palace, Sultan Park and the Friday Mosque.

After lunch, we will leave for the island of Guraidhoo by boat. After checking in the hotel on arrival, you could take a break at the hotel or enjoy the stunning beach sunset by yourself. Later, you will be led to a local family to enjoy the traditional dinner.

After breakfast, we will set off to discover the house reefs at Guraidhoo. Before getting into the water, our guide will offer you safety training and check your snorkeling gear. During the snorkeling, he or she will also help you identify marine creatures.

Since it usually gets cooler in the afternoon, we will make use of this period to explore Guraidhoo inhabitants' lifestyle. Together with the guide, you are going to visit the mosque, learn the making process of wooden boat 'Dhoni' at the shipyard and chat with local people. Then, we will find a café to try classic Maldivian snack 'Hedikaa', which goes very well with black tea. Send you back to the hotel at the end of the day.

Maldives' coral reefs are known for rich biodiversity, and we will visit best two of them by speedboat after breakfast. Snorkeling is the best way to explore the underwater world around the reefs, during which you can feast your eyes on the colorful corals and fish. It will also be an interesting experience to swim with sea turtles, sharks and rays side by side. Then, get back to Guraidhoo.
 
You can spend the whole afternoon as you like. At dinner time, enjoy delicious beach barbecue under the starry night, which is included in our price.

After breakfast, we will take a boat to get to Maafushi Island. If you did not enjoy the snorkeling to the full yesterday, now it is the time to let the fun go on. The blue water, vibrant corals, shoals of fish and other variously shaped creatures will never let you down. After the picnic lunch, you can choose to continue snorkeling, go swimming or get some rest.

On the way back to Maafushi, we may come across cute dolphins. After dinner, you can roam around Maafushi and know how this island stimulates local tourism.

Today is left for your own arrangement. It is recommended to try water activities such as diving, surfing, wind surfing and fishing.

After breakfast, it will take us twenty minutes to get to Gulhi by public ferry. Upon arrival at this tranquil island, we will pay a visit to local shipyard and see how workers refurbish boats. After that, you can chat with locals about their lifestyle or try coconut juice while admiring the lively port view. Then, we will go sightseeing at Bikini Beach. Or, you can grab the last chance to go snorkeling around the reefs nearby. In the evening, please enjoy the farewell dinner at the guesthouse we arrange for you.

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the boarding point of ferry and accompany you to take ferry to Male. After arrival, we will transfer you to Male Airport at around 10:00 a.m. We are looking forward to seeing you next time.
