Lousa, you might visit Cat Mountain. You can take bus from Guilin North Bus Station to the mountain directly. It departs at 10:30 and 15:40 and takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. Bus fare is around CNY 22. Upon arrival, you can choose to take tourism bus to reach the top of the mountain and get down. It costs around CNY 180 in total. If you plan to climb on your own, you need to pay around CNY 80. If you take the bus to get down, it costs around CNY 60.

If old folks can't walk too much, I think you might just go to Folded Brocade Hill or Wave-Subduing Hill. You can take bus no. 2 or 203 to reach these two attractions.
