Beijing Muslim Restaurants

Muslim Cuisine, also known as Islamic cai and Hui cai, is a religious cuisine wide spread among the Muslims. The Muslims has (and still hold) many religious taboos in eating. They never eat pork, dog, donkey, horse, ferocious birds and beasts, nor naturally dead animals or those killed without prayers. The cuisine excels at cooking mutton, and Muslim Cuisine is characterized by its fresh yet dense flavor. The best dish of Muslim Cuisine is Whole Sheep Banquet which has won wide praise. It is known as the saint banquet of the Muslims.

as for Muslim Halal restaurants & where to find Halal raw ingredients, you can search online because there are so many websites that list down the Halal restaurants in China, don't know about raw ingredients though. You can try vegetarian as well.

I know one called Jin Jiang Xi Yu Retaurant (金疆西域食府) which is located 411, 4th Block, Beicheng Donglu. It is about 4kms from your hotel. Actually, it is suggested that you ask for help from the hotel's staffs, who know the restaurants around the hotel well.
