Day 1 Arrival in Paro - Thimphu
Welcome to our India and Bhutan tour! You may fly to Bhutan either from Kathmandu or Bangkok, and we would be happy to arrange the flight if you wish. As soon as you arrive at Paro airport, our guide will meet you and escort you to the hotel in Thimphu for check-in. We begin our tour with a visit to the Buddha Dordenma Statue, a 51-meter-high bronze Sakyamuni Buddha with a gentle and peaceful look on his face, located on a mountain top. Then we will head for Takin Sanctuary to see Bhutan's national animal, the Takin, with its sheep-like head and ox-like body. After that, our guide will take you to Zilukha Nunnery where you can enjoy Thimphu Dzong, a golf course surrounded by the pleasant scenery of the higher Thimphu. We continue on to the Bhutan Post Office Headquarters where you can have stamps made from your own photos. Today's Bhutan to India tour ends in Thimphu Dzong, known as the office of the kings, the site of the Central Temple and the residence of its abbots.

Day 2 Thimphu - Punakha
After breakfast, our guide will escort you to Punakha. On the way, we will stop at Dochula Pass where you can view the southern foot of the Himalayas and 108 grand Stupas. Then you will be taken to the Chimmi Lhakhang Monastery and Punakha Dzong - the most ancient and beautiful castle in Bhutan. Afterwards, we will see a suspension bridge famous for being the longest bridge of Bhutan.

Day 3 Punakha - Paro
Punakha - Paro transfer. Paro Dzong, Ta Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang. (B+L+D)
In the morning, our guide will accompany you back to Paro. Today's tour starts with a visit to Paro Dzong. This fortress is perched on a steep cliff and holds Bhutan's treasure, the Thankha Thongdel - a religious scroll painting made of silk and cotton. Then we will visit Ta Dzong, which used to be the watchtower of Paro Dzong and is now the national museum housing a large number of cultural relics. After the visit, you will be guided to Kyichu Lhakhang. It is a sacred land not only for worship, but also for the royal family's celebrations.

Day 4 Paro Hiking
Hike to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest), Ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, Aum Chencho Farm House. (B+L+D)
After breakfast, we will visit Taktsang and the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong. Seated on the cliffs, Taktsang is praised as the most famous Buddhist temple in Bhutan. Drukgyel Dzong was founded in 1649 to commemorate Bhutan's victory over Tibetan invaders. It was later ruined in a terrible fire. Then our guide will escort you to pay a family visit to a local farmhouse. We can know more about daily life by chatting with local people.

Day 5 Paro - Delhi
Fly to Delhi, airport pick-up & transfer to hotel. Raj Ghat, Red Fort (drive by), Jama Masjid, a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Lakshminarayan Temple. (B)
In the morning, our Bhutan guide will escort you to the airport and help you board the plane for Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi airport, our local guide will meet you and then lead you to check in at the hotel. Afterwards, your India tour from Bhutan starts! 

First, you will visit the Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of India, was cremated after being assassinated in 1948. After the visit, we will drive by Red Fort - an Islamic palace entirely built of red sandstone. Then our guide will escort you to Jama Masjid - India's largest mosque. Afterwards, you will be accompanied to take a rickshaw ride to Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi.

Later, our guide will take you to Qutub Minar, famous for being the highest brick minaret in the world. The tower is an example of a building blending Indian and Islamic architectural styles. The Quran scriptures are carved in Arabic. We continue on to the majestic Humayun's Tomb. It is a combination of Islamic and Hindu architectural features and shows the beauty of geometric patterns. Then we proceed to India Gate, erected in 1921 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in World War I and the third Anglo-Afghan War. Then we will visit Lakshminarayan Temple, consecrated to the Goddess of Wealth, Lakshimi. Inside the temple, we will see colorful decorations and enjoy the fast tempo of Hindu music. Day 6 Delhi - Jaipur (274 kms)
Drive to Jaipur & check in at hotel, Jaipur bazaars. (B)
After breakfast, we will drive to Jaipur, also known as the Pink City, by comfortable vehicle. After checking in at the hotel, you will be taken to visit the crowded and bustling Jaipur bazaars.

Day 7 Jaipur - Amber - Jaipur
Amer Fort, ascend the fort by walking or on an elephant's back or in jeep, Maharaja City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal. (B)
Today's India tour from Bhutan is to ascend Amber Fort by walking, or on an elephant's back, or in a jeep. The castle was built of milky white, light yellow, rosy red and pure white stones, giving it an overall amber appearance. There is the Jal Mahal in the center of a lake on the mountain, which is not open to public, so we can only look it in the distance. Then our guide will escort you to the Maharaja City Palace. Nowadays, some Jaipur nobles live here. Other palaces have been converted into museums. Later you will be taken to tour Jantar Mantar. It is India's largest ancient astronomical observatory still in existence. There we will see the world's largest sundial. After the visit, we will move on to admire Hawa Mahal from outside, a pink sandstone palace once used as a residence for the Kings' concubines.

Day 8 Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (244 km)
Drive to Agra & transfer to hotel, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Afternoon is free at leisure and transport is at your disposal. (B)
After breakfast, our guide will escort you from Jaipur to the hotel in Agra by comfortable vehicle. On the way, you will be taken to visit spectacular Fatehpur Sikri. This is a masterpiece blending Hindu and Islamic architectural characteristics. The afternoon time is free for you to relax on your own and transport is at your own expense.

Taj Mahal, Agra Fort. (B)
Let's go on exploring Agra by visiting the Taj Mahala and Agra Fort. Taj Mahal, "Pearl of India", was built in memory of King Shah Jahan's wife and features Islamic and Indian architectural styles. Agra Fort is a red sandstone building built during the Mughal reign and has the dual functions of palace and castle.

Day 10 Agra to Delhi (231 km) & Departure from Delhi
