The first step is to prepare the required documents including the application form, your passport and its copy, a passport-style photo, travel insurance, residence permit in China, air tickets, travel itinerary, and proof of your financial support, as well as other materials the consular officers consider necessary. And then submit the application to the VES. Global.
You cannot apply online.

Greetings, I am already in China with F type that is going to expire in February.
I have a residence permit and I live in Dongguan, Guangzhou at the moment. How and where I could make my visa longer for another three months and what is the procedure for obtaining Z type? Thank you in advance for your response.
Best regards

Sabina, you can try to extend your F type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB. You need to prepare those documents: your passport, valid registration form of temporary residence, the application form, a bareheaded color photo, and an invitation letter from an entity in China.

If you want to get a work Z type in China, you can try to convert the F type to Z type at the exit and entry administration. You need to provide your passport, valid registration form of temporary residence, the application form, a bareheaded color photo, work permit and an invitation letter of a duly authorized unit (your employer will get the two documents for you).
