Muhammad, you can apply for a business entry permit to go there and attend the conference. The required documents are as follows:
1. Your passport and copy of its data page
2. The completed application form with a recently-taken passport-style photo
3. Your residence permit in PRC
4. Round trip air tickets and hotel booking record
5. An invitation letter from the conference organizer
6. Proof of your financial support
And then submit your application to the TLScontact Center to apply for it. Usually, the application process takes 7 working days, so you should submit the application at least 7 (seven) working days before your intended date of arrival to Cyprus. And just to play safe, you are advised to apply for it one month earlier before your trip.

First of all, prepare the relevant required materials containing the filled-out application form affixed with a passport-sized color photo taken recently, your passport and copy of its data page, your Chinese permit, round trip air tickets and hotel booking record, the invitation letter and guarantee letter from your good friend in Cyprus as well as your recent 3-month bank statement. Secondly, submit your application to the embassy of Cyprus in PRC to apply for it.

Hello people, do you know which documents we need for the visa?
I study abroad, but now I am in Cyprus and would like to apply here. Do you know if that's okay? Or they want accept it because I study abroad? And the last 2 questions is that I need a fast service, do you think it is easy to get it or they consider about it a lot, and are prices up to date on this website?
Thank you in advance!

Which country do you study in and which country's passport do you have?
You can try to applyin Cyprus with your valid passport, an application form with a recent taken photo, your round trip tickets to China, hotel bookings and your proof of legal status in Cyprus to apply. But to be honest, it is not assured that you can get one smoothly in the end.

You can apply for an express service, but it is not assured that you approval can get accepted. It depends on your real situation. The express service will charge an extra 20 Euro. Based on my experience, the express is not hard to get.
