 How to Get to the Embassy:
The Embassy is located on Xiu Shui Dong Jie (East Silk Street), near to Jianguomen Gate. So, you may choose the bus routes towards these directions. The Fang Cao Di bus stop, which neighbors on the Embassy, can be reached by Buses No. 28, 43, 120, and 126. Additionally, you may take a bus to get off near Jianguomen Gate. The buses routes via Jianguomen include 434, 39, 638, 637, 25, 122, 457, 750, 800 and 52.
 

 Brief Introduction
Guyana lies in the north of South America. It borders Venezuela on the northwest, Brazil on the south, Suriname on the east and the Atlantic on the northeast. With a climate of tropical rain forest, the annual rainfall there is from 1500 to 2000 millimeters. The yearly average temperature is about 24ºC to 32 ºC.

Since the ninth century, Amerindians have inhabited on this land. In 15th century, the Spaniards invaded this region. In 17th to 18th century, the area was conquered by Holland. In 1814, Holland transferred Guyana to Britain. Then, it became the colony of Britain in 1831. On May 26th, 1966, Guyana declared independence.


 Bilateral Relationship between Guyana and China:
In November, 1971, the two nations signed an agreement of setting up trade office in each other's country. In March, 1972, Chinese Trade Office in Guyana opened. On June 27th of the same year, the diplomatic relations between the two countries was established. On the same day, Chinese Embassy started to work and in October, 1973, Guyana established embassy in Beijing. In the English-speaking Caribbean region, Guyana is the first country to found the diplomatic relations with China. Both of them share a very friendly and close communication.

Since you have already been in China, I suppose you are asking about applying for the visa of Guyana? If so, I think you need to go to Beijing.

To get visa of Guyana
Sir/madam
I've friend from Guyana and she want me to visit her. I'm pakistani nationality holder but nowadays I'm in china. How can i get entry permit for guyana which documents are required ?

You should first prepare 2 recently-taken photos, employment letter, proof of your financial support, an invitation letter from your friend, and your passport and two copies of passport, as well as your residence permit in China.
Next, submit the application to the embassy of Guyana to apply for a tourist visa.

Reopening of Guyana Embassy in Bejing
I was informed that because of the approaching holiday ( Chinese New Years) the office will be closed and simply wish to find out when it will reopen?
