how to apply a visa to Tunisia from Nanjing, China?
I want my mum to come to Tunis to pay us a visit(currently i am living in Tunisia). She is more than 70 year old, living in Nanjing. What can I (British citizen but Chinese original) and my husban(Tunisian) do to help her to get a visa to come over? can she apply on line instead of travelling to Beijing by herself?

The only way is to get it from the Tunisia office in Beijing, but I'm not sure whether they offer mail service. You may call them directly by tel. 00 86 10 6532 2435 to know about this.

You mother have to prepare the followings to get the visa:
1. application form typed or clearly hand written in capital letters on both sides and signed by herself
2. two recent identity color photos (2 inches)
3. Valid passport for a period of 03 months at least
4. Document justifying the residence in China, such as her Household registration book (hukou)
5. round way air ticket, proof of accommodation and expenses in Tunisia
6. visa fee of 200 RMB

Thank you very much for your reply, Frank. Regarding the round way air ticket, can she buy within a year air ticket? as i want her to stay for a year if she can. Secondly, we do not have statement from the Tunisia bank as we only live here for a year and we still use the service of the banks in UK. By the way, we only do email banking and receive a statement once a year from them. What should I do to proof of 'accommodation and expenses in Tunisia? can she use her bank statement in stead of ours? Finally, you do not need an invitation letter from us at all? Thanks again.

Dear, this site is not official website of Tunisian embassy in China, but only for a travel agency. Beside Frank replied above, invitation letter is required as I know, so just include all the details in. You may need to contact the embassy directly for further information.
