Natural Wonder & Lake Tour

After your arrival at Bishkek, the guide and the driver will pick you up at the airport. If you arrive early, we'll arrange you lunch and a Bishkek city tour. First go to the Old Square and then Oak Park. The next stop will be Ala-Too Square in the city center where you can see the soldiers reliving a guard and the statue of Kyrgyz hero Manas. Finally we'll go to visit the exterior of the great Kyrgyz National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Abdylas Maldybayev.

After breakfast, we'll go to visit one of the most famous attractions in Kyrgyzstan, Burana Tower. You can climb up to overlook the surrounding scenes. You will also see Balbals around. Then, we'll wind through the green valley and go to the second biggest high mountain lake on this planet, Issyk-Kul Lake to explore the resort Cholpon Ata on the north bank. On the way we'll stop to visit the New Nomad Museum. After arriving at Cholpon Ata, the rest of the day is your free time. You can have a rest on the lakeside, enjoy a sunbath or go swimming in the lake.

After the Cholpon Ata tour, we'll drive to Karakol along the north bank of Issyk-Kul Lake, taking 3 hours. On the way stop at a café in Tup to have lunch. Upon arrival, we'll visit Nikolai Przhevalsky Museum which is named after Russian explorer Przhevalsky and shows his travels in central and East Asia and his achievements in plant and animal studies in the regions.

Today we'll explore Karakol to learn its diverse culture. The guide will take you to visit the Russian Orthodox Church and Dungan Mosque. If we come across a Sunday morning, we'll also go to Karakol Animal Market to see how Kyrgyz buy and sell livestock, such as horse and sheep. Afterwards, go to Jeti-Oguz Canyon in Kyrgyzstan to admire the strange rocks including the "Seven Bulls Rocks" and the "Broken Heart".

Then, we will head to Tamga along the south shore of Issyk-Kul Lake and check in to the yurt camp by the lake. Have a rest for a while, we'll then go to today's last stop Canyon Fairy Tale with colorful rocks in various shapes.

After breakfast, the guide and the driver will escort you to Bokonbayevo to see the golden eagles, visit the bazaar, and learn about the training and hunting stories of golden eagles. Then drive for 5 hours to Song Kol Lake located 3,016 meters (9,895 feet) above sea level. It is the largest freshwater lake in Kyrgyzstan. On the way, pass the Kalmak Ashuu pass at an altitude of 3,447 meters (11,309 feet), which is a great place to overlook Song Kol Lake. If in summer, you will see herders living and grazing by the lake, snow-capped mountains and blooming flowers, looking like a paradise.

The full day will be left for you to discover the beauty of the Song Kol Lake. You can get up early to watch the sunrise, take a leisurely walk along the shore of the lake, watch the horses galloping on the prairie, the flock of sheep grazing, and the edelweiss blooming everywhere. Or walk into the nomadic packs of herders and participate in their daily activities. Of course, you can also hike with the guide or ride a horse through the valley at your own expense.

After breakfast, we'll leave Song Kol Lake and drive along the Moldo-Ashu Pass with an altitude of 3,346 meters (10,978 feet) to Naryn city, which will take 4 hours. After hotel check-in and lunch, the guide will accompany you to explore the city.

The first stop of today is Koshoy Korgon. It is an important fortress built in the 7th to 10th centuries and only ruins of its clay wall can be seen now. There is a museum not far from Koshoy Korgon, which displays the tools, household items, and military equipment used by the ancient nomads. After that, the guide will take you to Tash Rabat caravanserai, the best-preserved inn on the ancient Silk Road, for businessmen to rest, trade, and have religious exchanges. The stone inn with a beautiful round dome was constructed from crushed stones and clay mortar, and plaster is added to seal the gaps. After lunch, return to Naryn city.

Today we'll leave Naryn, pass by the Dolon Pass and head to Kochkor. Before arriving at Kochkor, the guide will take you to visit the salt mine in Tuzz. After arrival and having lunch in Kochkor, we will go to explore an interesting felt store Altyn –Kol to know how to make felt; you can also buy one as a souvenir.

After breakfast, we'll drive back to Bishkek, taking 4 hours. Have lunch in the restaurant in Bishkek on arrival. The rest of the day is free for you. If you want to look around the local bazaar, please do not hesitate to ask our guide for help and information. In the evening, we will hold a farewell dinner for you.

This is the last day of your Kyrgyzstan private tours. After breakfast in the hotel, our guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to Bishkek International Airport. Wish you a happy journey home.
