One-day Exploration to Famen Temple

Famen Temple
Originally built about 1700 years ago, Famen Temple which houses the finger bone of Sakyamuni Buddha, is one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites in China. If you are interested in Buddhist culture and planning a day trip to somewhere outside Xian, Famen Temple is an ideal choice. It is located in Fufeng County, Baoji City, about 120 km (74.6 miles) away from Xian.

We suggest you set out early today. You can take subway line 1 and get off at Hanchenglu Station, where you'll find the West Xian Bus Station less than 100 meters away. There are direct buses run to Famen Temple from this station. It is recommended that you take the earliest bus leaving at 09:00. The ticket fare is CNY 37.5 per person. I would like to know how to get to Qianling from Famen Temple by bus.
Is it possible to visit both in one day? I will catch 遊2 at 8:00, visit both locations and need to be back to the Xi'an railway station by 21:30 to get on a train. Is it doable? Also, is left luggage section at the railway station open for 24 hours?

Actually I do not think one day is enough to cover Qianling and Famen Temple by public bus. There is no direct bus between the two places, you have to connect bus via Fufeng county and take bus or taxi to the spot. Including the visiting time and the bus transfer time, one day is really very pressing. By the way the traffic in Xian from 16:30 is getting bad, so you may take the risk of missing your train. Why don't you ask a travel agent to arrange a leisure tour for you?
