Old Stone Sculpture Exhibition Hall Pictures

The Old Stone Sculpture Exhibition Hall locates on the west side of the museum, which shows about 70 exquisite exhibits in Han and Tang Dynasties. It is divided into two parts, stone sculptures from tombs and about religion. The epigraph from Lishou (a general in Tang Dynasty) is the most famous among sculptures in tombs, because only two pieces exist in China. The images of Buddhist statues of Sui and Tang Dynasties are diverse. Embossments as well as circular engravures reflect the condition and development of Buddhism in ancient China.
