If you stay at the Marriott Executive Apartments in Union Square, you can take the Subway Line 9 from the Shangcheng Road Stop and get off at the Madang Road Stop, this route will lead you to the Madang Road Entrance.
If you stay at the Shangri-la Hotel, you can take the No. 82 Air-Conditioned bus at the Oriental Pearl Stop (temporary stop) and get off at the South Pudong Road-Huafeng Road Stop, this route will lead you to the Bailianjing Entrance.

How do I find out which hotels are close to public transportation that go to the expo? I'd like to find a place where it is a very short walk to the public transportation and take only 10 to 15 minutes to get from hotel to the park. What suggestions do you have for hotels that fit my needs?.

You can email and contact the organizer through this:

I have neard that the Shanghai Expo entrust overseas Chinese community and society to help finding volunteers as translators. You can try to contact authorized community in Russia.
