Day 1 Arrival in Moscow, Airport pick-up
Welcome to Russia! Upon arrival in Moscow, our guide and driver is waiting for you at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel for check in. The rest time of the day is free on your own.

Day 2 Moscow city highlights with Metro tour
Our guide will take you to visit the most beautiful subway station in Moscow, Mayakovskaya. Then head to Red Square surrounded by Kremlin Walls, Lenin's Tomb, St Basil's Cathedral, Resurrection gate and the Russia State Historical Museum. Turn left, we will see Alexander Garden, the oldest city park in Moscow. Then, continue to visit Moscow Kremlin which is the symbol of Russia and is a UNESECO World Heritage site. Finally, we'll head to St. Basil Cathedral with an onion-like dome, which has been the historical center of Russia since 16th century.

Day 3 Moscow city highlights tour
Today we'll go to Lenin's Mausoleum, the resting place of the former Soviet leader Vladimir Lenin. It is a small granite building. Then, visit the Cathedral of Christ the Savior with 103 meters (338 feet) high, which is the tallest Orthodox Church in the world. The most striking part of it is undoubtedly the panoramic view on the 40-meter (131 feet) high observation platform in the bell tower. Afterwards, head to explore Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts which is a comprehensive museum with the largest art collections in the world from ancient Egypt and Greece to the modern times.

Day 4 Art appreciation tour in Moscow
On the fourth day, our guide will take you to have an art tour. We'll first visit Tretyakov Gallery to appreciate 170,000 artworks in 62 exhibition halls. After, go to explore Central Andrey Rublev Museum. Founded in 1947, the museum has a collection of more than 10,000 works of art including icons from the 11th century to the early 20th century, decorative artwork, manuscripts and early printed books, as well as fragments of frescoes.

Day 5 Sergiev Posad day tour
Today we'll head to Sergiev Posad which is 70 kilometers (43.5 miles) away from Moscow. On arrival, we'll visit Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius and its cathedrals and other famous attractions like Dormition Cathedral, the Holy Gates and the Godunov Burial Vault. If lucky, you may see Orthodox believers kissing the coffin of Sergiev and receiving the holy water. After, go back to the hotel.

Day 6 Take bullet train to St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg city tour
Our guide and the driver will send you to take a 4-hour modern Sapsan bullet train to St. Petersburg. Upon arrival, the local guide and the driver will meet you at the station exit and they will transfer you to the hotel. This afternoon, our guide will take you to have a walking tour on Nevsky Prospect. You will see the city landmarks including Moscow Railway station, Rastrelliesque Stroganov Palace, the Kazan Cathedral, Eliseyev Emporium, the Art Nouveau Bookhouse, and a plethora of 18th-century churches.

Day 7 Novgorod day tour
Today we will go to Novgorod, an old town in Golden Ring. We will first visit Novgorod Kremlin, one of the oldest Russian military defense buildings which is a World Heritage Site. Here you can visit St. Sophia's Cathedral, Muzey Izobrazitelnykh Iskusstv and Millennium of Russia. We'll also visit Saint Nicholas Cathedral which is used to store the magic icons. This afternoon, we will visit Yuriev Monastery, Cathedral of St. George and the open-air museum of wooden architecture Vitoslavisty which is composed of old wooden house, huts and cathedrals. You can know how the local people live. After the visit, go back to St. Petersburg.

Day 8 Visit the St. Isaacs Cathedral and Peterhof
During this day’s Russia packages, we'll first head to St. Isaacs Cathedral. St. Isaacs Cathedral has a huge golden dome gilded with more than 220 pounds of gold. Today, the church is used as a museum and has a large collection of impressive 19th-century’s art and mosaic works. We'll climb 300 steps to the colonnade of the cathedral, from which you can overlook the entire city.

After that, we will take a boat to Peterhof (Petrodvorets), about 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) from St. Petersburg. Located in the forest on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland, Peterhof covers an area of nearly 1,000 hectares and is the suburban palace of Tsars. Afterwards, visit Peterhof Park and Grand Palace. Finally we'll return to downtown by boat and send you to the hotel.

Day 9 Visit Russian Museum and Hermitage Museum
Today we'll visit Hermitage Museum and Russia Museum in St. Petersburg. The Hermitage Museum is located in the Winter Palace, once the palace of the Russian Tsar, and now it is one of the largest museums in the world, with a collection of more than 3 million pieces. The collection includes paintings, sculptures and other artworks from various European countries. It can be said to be a portrayal of western art history.

The Russian Museum is located in the Mikhailovsky Castle in the Mikhailov Palace. It has about 400,000 items, including icons, paintings, and sculptures, spanning from the 10th century to the present and are chronologically exhibited in 94 exhibition halls. After the trip, return to the hotel.
