Though October marks the end of the rainy season, it is still rainy on most afternoons. Luckily, rain generally does not last too long, about 0.5 to 1.5 hours. And that won’t affect your visit too much. If you are interested in an October trip to Ho Chi Minh City, it is recommended to taste a cup of Vietnamese coffee in the Cafe Apartments with a lot of cafes and coffee shops. Apart from the fantastic coffee experience, the building itself is pretty cool. Another top thing to do is to taste the most authentic street food in District 4, where you can sample foods like bun bo hue, banh mi, nuoc mia, and even more. If you are adventurous enough, exploring Cu Chi Tunnels is unmissable, which were built for fighting against the enemies during the war.
