Day 1 Arrival in Tashkent, Airport pick-up, Tashkent city tour
Welcome to Uzbekistan! Our driver will offer an airport pick-up and send you to the hotel. After a break, our guide, with the driver, will accompany you to start the 8 days Uzbekistan tour packages! We're going to visit Khast-Imom Complex, the religious center gathering many old buildings, such as Madrasah of Barak-Khan, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, Mausoleum of the Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari. We'll then visit the Chorsu Bazaar in the old town.

Afterwards the guide will escort you to take the subway to the city center. It's a fresh experience to see the distinctive subway stations, which is also a must-see in Tashkent. We shall meet the driver in the city center. Afterwards, we will go to visit Independence Square, Amir Timur Park, and State Museum of Applied Art.

Day 2 Take high-speed train to Samarkand, Samarkand highlight tour
You'll be sent to the train station for taking the high-speed train to Samarkand, taking 2h to arrive at the destination. The driver in Samarkand will pick you up.

After leaving your luggage at the hotel, the driver and the guide will lead you to the landmark Registan Square, the largest market Siyob Bazzar at local, and Bibi Khanym Mosque with giant blue dome. We'll also visit Ulugbek Observatory, the largest astronomical observatory once in Central Asia. Then go to Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis for grand old tomb complex, and lastly Gur-Emir Mausoleum of Timur the Great and his families.

Day 3 Samarkand day tour
We'll begin our trip in Samarkand today, which starts from Afrasiab Museum telling Samarkand's history and showing local ancient artifacts. Then we'll pay our respect to the remains of Jewish prophet Daniel at the Tomb of Saint Daniel, and learn the traditional way of making Samarkand paper at Koni Ghil village. You will have some free time at Koni Ghil village as well.

Day 4 Drive to Bukhara, Visit Old Bukhara
Drive for 280km (174 miles) and 4h to Bukhara. Stop over to visit Rabati-Malik Caravanserai - the ancient post for caravans on the way. On arrival in Bukhara, check in the hotel.

After, the local guide will lead you to visit Old Bukhara on foot. Inside this world heritage, we'll walk to the best-known landmark, Kalyan Minaret and Kalyan Mosque first. Then we'll go to the 16th-century Miri-Arab Madrasah, and the oldest mosque in the city, Magoki-Attori Mosque. Continuing to visit madrasahs of Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan, local market Trade Domes, and Lyabi Hauz Ensemble with varieties of restaurants, cafes, galleries and souvenir shops, we'll get to Chor-Minor Madrasah at last.

Day 5 Bukhara day tour with Sitorai Mohi Hosa
We'll visit Ark Fortress and Bolo Khauz Mosque with carved wooden pillars, and then head to Samanid Mausoleum, an early-Islamic architecture with geometric patterns pieced by brickworks. After visiting Chashma Ayub Mausoleum, we'll go to Summer Palace, or Sitorai Mohi Hosa, which has a combined style with the European exterior and the Central Asian interior. After that, we'll go to the religious holy site - the mausoleum and necropolis of Bahauddin Naqshabandiy.

Day 6 Drive to Khiva through Kyzylkum Desert
Today the driver will take you to Khiva about 480 km (300 miles) away. Driving along the old Silk Road, we might arrive in Khiva in 7-8 hours. On the way, we'll go through Kyzylkum Desert, meaning "Red Sand" in English. We're going to stop over to admire the desert scenes as well as Amudarya River. Overnight stay in Khiva.

Day 7 Khiva city tour, Take a flight to Tashkent
We'll enjoy a walking tour in Ichan Kala, the inner city of Khiva that is known as a large-scale open-air museum. We'll walk to visit Mukhammad Amin Khan Madrasah, and Mukhammad Rahimkhan Madrasah, where the short round minaret Kalta Minor is quite special. We'll then go to Juma Mosque known as the museum of wooden pillars with carved patterns, and Toshkhovli Palace. Next, we'll visit Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum. As many ancient emperors have been buried around Pakhlavan Makhmud, the sage and protector of Khiva, the area has been expanded into a large tomb complex. After that, we're to climb Islom Khodja Minaret, the tallest minaret in Ichan Kala, and go to Kunya-Ark fortress to overlook the entire Khiva.

A free afternoon for you. In the evening, the driver will send you to Urgench airport. You then can fly back to Tashkent. Taking 1h 40min to arrive, the driver in Tashkent will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 8 Departure from Tashkent, Airport see-off
It's the last day of the itinerary. Your driver will see you off to Tashkent airport. Pleasant flight home!
