Day 01: Arrival in Lhasa

Potola Palace, Lhasa
Our guide will pick you up at Lhasa airport where the altitude is 3,650 meters above sea level. Check in at the hotel. The a la carte dinner will be arranged for you at a local best Sichuan cuisine restaurant. (D)

Day 02: Lhasa
Visit the Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch, visit the Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka Park and a Tibetan family.(B+L+D)

Day 03: Lhasa
Visit the Drepung Monastery. After having a western-style lunch, go ahead to visit the Jokhang Temple, the Tibetan Traditional Hospital and the Carpet Factory. (B+L+D)

Day 04: Lhasa - Yangpanchen - Damxung

Heavenly Lake Namtso, Tibet
Today drive to Damxung in the north of Lhasa city. On the way visit the famous geothermal energy Yangpachen. Stay overnight at the hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 05: Damxung - Heavenly Lake Namtso - Lhasa
Visit the famous Heavenly Lake Namtso and enjoy the landscape of Grassland. Drive back to Lhasa and transfer to the hotel again. (B+L+D)

Day 06: Departure from Lhasa

1. Bijouterie
You can find pearl, agate, gold or silver made jewelries in Tibet. Different tibetan jewelries have different meanings, even the same kind with different pattern and design signify differently. Most of them stand for blessing, like the Tibetan bracelet and rings with Sanskrit carved on it, which have the effect of sweeping away the evil and praying for the good fortune. They are all made of Tibetan silver.
2. Yak-bone ornament
Yak is the best friend of tibetan locals. It is reputed as the most nice holy animal in tibetan people's heart. Yak-bone ornament add a tameless great charm to wearers due to its orginal, straightforward and bold trait.
3. Tibetan Knife
Tibetan use it to cut meat and self-protection. It is a very special decoration. Knife for men is more sharp and bold, while for women is more cabinet and elegant.
4. Mask
It is an artificial handcraft derived from the religion which is usually used on important festivals in monasteries. There are different religious patterns drawn on it, including apparition, immortal, animal totem etc...
5. Tangka
It is a kind of scroll of strong tibetan flavor. Most of them are buddhist figures and Bodhisattva images. There are also some others about the landscape, flowers and birds and iatrology field. Very nice and attractive.
6. Tibetan Carpet
This is a kind of tibetan traditional handiwork which has a great value of collection. Unique weaving method, vivid and harmonious lustre and soft tenderness of the surface, as well as dense folk patterns make the tibetan carpet more precious.
7. Tibetan fragrant
Tibetan people use it to sweep away the evils and pray to the buddha. Put it into your wardrobe will not only make your clothes full of aroma but also prevent the worm. It is a very good souvenir.
