Photos of Great Wall in Beijing

The well-preserved sections of the Great Wall in Beijing are China's most famous tourist sites. These sections are mainly the remains from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), an era of tremendous construction. The mainly sections include Badaling, Simatai, Jinshanling, Mutianyu, Gubeikou, Huanghuacheng and Jiankou (Arrow Nock).

Every day, the Great Wall meets with lots of visitors.
The Badaling Great Wall, located in Yanqing County, Beijing, is one part of Chinese ancient military fortification system and a very important gateway of the Ming (1368-1644) Great Wall.
Shrubs and saplings grew, their roots prizing the fill of the Wall apart, Huanghacheng Great Wall.
The Huanghuacheng Great Wall is located in Huairou, Beijing, about 60 kilometers from the downtown of Beijing. Each summer, the village under the Huanghuacheng Great Wall is immersed in a sea of yellow wild flowers.
The Jiankou Great Wall is very steep.
The Jiankou Great Wall is situated in the mountain ridge of Xiazhazi Village, Huairou, Beijing. It's an important section of the Ming (1368-1644) Great Wall, regarded as one of the most dangerous sections of the Ming's wall.
There are 24 beacon towers on the Jinshanling Great Wall.
The Jinshanling Great Wall lies on the boundary between Luanping County of Hebei Province and Miyun Coutny of Beijing. It is the best preserved part of the Great Wall with many original features.
Coming down from the mountain ridge and running into the river, the towers stretch into the water at both sides of a river.
As a renowned pass of China Great Wall, the Juyongguan Pass was enlisted in the World Heritage Directory in 1987 as a national cultural protection unit.
Architectural structures of the Wall are different in different sections. This part of the wall has battlements on both sides.
The Mutianyu Great Wall, located in Huairou around 45 miles from Beijing, was endowed with a long history. It connects Juyongguan Pass on the west and the Guibeikou Great Wall on the east.
Through more than 400 years, the Simatai Great Wall is well-preserved with the original appearance of the Ming's wall.
The Simatai Great Wall is celebrated for its steepness, queerness and intactness. It lies in Gubeikou Town, northeast of Miyun County, 120 kilometers from Beijing.

It's the best great wall that I ever seen since I was on my primary school and hopefully if I have a chance next year, I will visit the place, its so wonderful but some says it need to be repair to maintain its beauty. the last time I saw it when David Copperfield
performed his amazing magic in the great wall that's truly make me shock terribly.
