Day 1 Morning train from Delhi to Gwalior with sightseeing
Delhi hotel pick-up & take train to Gwalior (5 hours). Visit Jai Vilas Palace, Tomb of Tansen and Tomb of Gaus Mohammad, Gwalior Fort with Man Mandir Palace, Gujari Mahal Archeological Museum, Teli Ka Mandir.
Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Delhi and then transfer you to train station for train to Gwalior. The train takes about 5 hours.

Get to Gwalior and check in at the hotel. Afterwards, we will explore the 19th-century Jai Vilas Palace, special for its excellent European-style architectures. Then we will head to the Tomb of Tansen and Tomb of Gaus Mohammad to enjoy the wonderful marble structures and feel the esteem from a king to the great people. Next, we will visit the massive Gwalior Fort comprising numerous artistic temples, water tanks and palaces. We will also have a historical tour at Gujari Mahal Archeological Museum to appreciate the ancient artifacts and visit the Teli Ka Mandir built over 1,000 years ago.

Day 2 Gwalior - Orchha
Drive to Orchha (122KM & 3 hours) & check in at your hotel. Visit Jahangir Mahal, Raja Mahal, Rai Praveen Mahal, Chaturbhuj Temple & Chattris. (B)
In the morning, you will extend this tour to Orchha by a 3-hour drive. Upon arrival, check into a hotel first to settle your luggage and travel light around in your guide's company. The Jahangir Mahal, as your first stop, is a four-storey palace built to accommodate Mughal Emperor Jahangir during his first visit to Orchha in 17th century. The nearby Raja Mahal with fine Bundeli-style structures is also worth-seeing. Next, you will head to Rai Praveen Mahal featuring beautiful frescos and then visit Chaturbhuj Temple, which is famous for the highest Vimana. Afterwards, you will end today's tour at Chattris, a majestic royal tomb complex.

Day 3 Orchha - Khajuraho
Drive to Khajuraho (173 KM, 4.5 hours) & check in at your hotel. Visit the erotic temples of Khajuraho, including Western Group of Temples and Chaunset Yogini Kali Temple. (B)
Today we will take you to explore the erotic temples in Khajuraho by a 4.5-hour private drive. After leaving luggage at your local hotel, you will start the temple experience, including the visits to Western Group of Temples, covering the 12th-century Kandariya Mahadeva Temple, Visha Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lakshmana Temple consecrated to Hindu Deity and so on. You will also visit Chaunset Yogini Kali Temple, a centuries-old heritage site with the abode of Goddess Durga along with 64 yoginis.

Day 4 Khajuraho - Sanchi - Bhopal
Drive to Bhopal (376KM, 8 hours) & check in at your hotel. En-route visit Sanchi Stupa. (B)
Hopping on your private vehicle bound for Bhopal, an enchanting lakeside city imbued with Islamic and Hindu ambience, you will reach your local hotel in 8 hours and do the check-in. En-route, you will stop at Sanchi, a significant Buddhist site endowed with numerous stupas and monasteries, to visit Sanchi Stupa, one of the oldest stone structures in India, where you could immerse in its far-reaching Buddhist ambience.

Day 5 Bhopal - Bhimbetka - Bhopal
Bhimbetka Caves, Bhojpur Temple, Jama Masjid (Taj-ul-Masajid) and Bharat Bhavan. (B)
In the morning, your guided India tour will take you to have an outing to Bhimbetka Caves, an archaeological site in India for you to discover the earliest human's life from the cave paintings dating back to approximately 30,000 years ago. And the 11th-century Bhojpur Temple, which is unfinished, left with only mystery and architectures for visitors. In the afternoon, you will be driven back to Bhopal for the visit to its historical and cultural monuments, covering the large-scale Jama Masjid officially known as Taj-ul-Masajid, which is famous for its imposing structures, and Bharat Bhavan, a multi-art museum complex where you will get close to folk art and music.

Day 6 Bhopal - Ujjain - Indore
Drive to Indore (246 KM, 5 hours) & check in at your hotel. Halfway visit Ujjain, including Mahakali Temple, Gopal Temple, Kaal Bhairav Temple, Mangalnath Temple, Harsiddhi Temple and Ram Ghat. (B)
Today, you will travel to Indore by a 5-hour road trip. Halfway, you will visit Ujjain, once the capital of the ancient Avanti Kingdom. Here an array of historical and cultural spots including palaces and temples are well-preserved nowadays, among which the Mahakali Temple dedicated to Goddess Mahakali, Gopal Temple dedicated to god Krishna, Kaal Bhairav Temple near the Shipra River, Mangalnath Temple dedicated to the city's guardian deity, the beautiful Harsiddhi Temple with red roofs and the Ram Ghat will be covered in today's sightseeing tour. On arrival in Indore, you will be accommodated in your hotel.

Day 7 Indore - Maheshwar - Mandu
Visit Rajwada Palace, Lal Bagh Palace (closed on Monday), Bada Ganpati Temple, KanchMandir, Khajrana Temple. Drive to Mandu & check in at your hotel. En-route visit Maheshwar, including Kaleshwar Temple and Ahileshwar Temple. (B)
In the morning, we will explore the outstanding sites in Indore, including the 200-year-old Rajwada Palace mixing architectural styles of Muslim, Maratha and French, Lal Bagh Palace showing the past glory of Indian royals, and three enchanting temples: Hindu Bada Ganpati Temple, Jain KanchMandir, and Hindu Khajrana Temple. After the visits, you will have 3.5-hour drive to your hotel in Mandu, an ancient city about 100 kilometers (60 miles) from Indore. En-route you will visit Maheshwar to appreciate the impressive Kaleshwar Temple with intricate carvings and Ahileshwar Temple, a large temple complex with excellent designs built in the Holkar Dynasty.

Day 8 Mandu - Jalgaon
Jahaz Mahal, Hindola Mahal, Jama Masjid, Roopmati's Pavilion, Rewa Kund Reservoir and Baz Bahadur's Palace. Drive to Jalgaon (244 KM, 5 hours) & check in at your hotel. (B)
After breakfast, you will start the Mandu city tour with a visit to Jahaz Mahal which seems to be floating on the surrounding reservoir. Next, you will wonder at the Hindola Mahal built by Emperor Hoshang Shah in 1425 AD, and then head to a centuries-old mosque, the grand Jama Masjid completed in 1454 AD. Afterwards, take a leisure stroll around the quaint Roopmati's Pavilion, the stunning Rewa Kund Reservoir, as well as Baz Bahadur's Palace to uncover the hidden gems. Afterwards, a 5 hours' drive will take you to your hotel in the next destination - Jalgaon.

Day 9 Jalgaon - Ajanta Caves - Aurangabad
Ajanta Caves (closed on Monday). Drive to Aurangabad (160 KM, 4-5 hours) & check in at your hotel. (B)
In the morning, you will check out from the hotel and be taken to visit the awe-inspiring Ajanta Caves, a rock-cut Buddhist monastery complex with 29 well-preserved caves that could be dated back to nearly 2,000 years ago. These caves boast exquisite sculptures and unparalleled frescos that demonstrate the history and religious art of Indian Buddhism. After the visit, you will be escorted to your hotel in Aurangabad by a 4 to 5 hours' private drive.

Day 10 Aurangabad - Ellora Caves - Aurangabad
Visit the Ellora Caves. Drive back to Aurangabad for visiting Bibi Ka Maqbara, Panchakki & Aurangabad Caves. (B)
After breakfast, you will be guided to explore the renowned Ellora Caves. The 12 Buddhist caves, 17 Hindu caves and 5 Jain caves built between the 6th and 10th centuries comprise the entire rock grottoes site, which enable you to have a clear clue on the evolution and blending of Indian religions. Afterwards, drive back to Aurangabad to visit more attractions with your guide, such as Bibi Ka Maqbara, a Mughal architecture considered a wonderful replica of the Taj Mahal; Panchakki, an ancient water mill showing the prominent technique in the medieval India; and Aurangabad Caves, the rock-cut shrines manifesting the development of Buddhism in the 6th century.

Day 11 Aurangabad - Mumbai
Drive to the airport for your flight to Mumbai. On arrival drive to your hotel. Rest of the day is free for your own. (B)

Upon landing, you will meet our representative and be transferred to your hotel. After settling in, you can ramble along the beautiful streets and chaotic bazaars to familiarize yourself with this city.

Day 12 Departure from Mumbai
Visit Hanging Gardens with Kamla Nehru Park, Mani Bhawan, Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India and Dhobi Ghat. Drive along the coastal Marine Drive, visit the Flora Fountain and Crawford Market. Drive to the airport & see you off. We wish you a smooth journey! (B)
Today, your guide will take you to have a deep exploration of the highlights of Mumbai. The first stop is the Hanging Gardens, a tranquil terraced getaway on Malabar Hill. Kamla Hehru Park inside can provide you a spectacular bird's-eye-view of the whole city and the long coastline. Afterwards, you will cover the Mani Bhawan, Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India and Dhobi Ghat with a quick glance. You will also be driven along the 3.6-kilometer-long (2.2-mile) Marine Drive to view the seascape, and then stop by the Flora Fountain and Crawford Market. At last, get back to the hotel for check-out procedure, and then you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. Have a nice journey home!
