Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Airport pick-up & airport-hotel transfer.
Once you arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport, you can see our guide waiting for you outside the customs. After a warm greeting, our driver will send you to the well-picked hotel.

Meal: No meals, advice freely available

Day 2 Beijing
Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, A la carte lunch, Temple of Heaven, Kung Fu Show. (B+L)
Badaling Great Wall
Your small group China tour starts today. In the morning our guide will accompany you to the Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest city square and a significant venue for major ceremonies and gatherings in China. Then walk northward to visit the Forbidden City, the imperial palace of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1922) dynasties with magnificent architectures and collections.

We will serve you an a la carte lunch with authentic Chinese food at a famous local restaurant. It values CNY150.00 per person and is included in our price. In the afternoon, continue the tour to the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors used to worship the God of Heaven. In the evening, we will take you to enjoy an eye-catching Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theater.

Day 3 Beijing
Badaling Great Wall, Sacred Way, Bird's Nest (drive by). (B)
Our group at the Temple of Heaven
In the morning, today's Beijing small group tour will begin with the Badaling Great Wall, the essence and the best preserved section of Great Wall, and then a jade factory. We will specially prepare a bottle of red wine for a group-toasting on the Great Wall. You are suggested to have a big breakfast at hotel in this morning. We will not arrange lunch for you since the restaurants near the Great Wall are not good enough.

In the afternoon, our guide will escort you to the Sacred Way of Ming Tomb, symbolizing the road leading to heaven in ancient Chinese tomb culture. On the way back to downtown, we will drive by the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) where the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games Opening Ceremony was held. Today's small group Beijing tour will end here.

Day 4 Beijing - Xian
Summer Palace, A la carte lunch, Hutong visit. Fly to Xian. Airport-hotel transfer. (B+L)
Terracotta Army, Xian
In the morning, our guide will lead you to visit the largest and best-preserved royal park in China- the Summer Palace. Followed is a pearl store. We will serve you an a la carte lunch (valued at CNY150.00 per person and included in our price) at an upscale restaurant which will definitely satisfy your appetite this noon.

In the afternoon, we will arrange you a Beijing Hutong tour by a local rickshaw to have a glimpse of local's lives. After, our guide will send you to the airport to take a flight to Xian. Upon arrival, our Xian guide will pick you up and help you check in the hotel.

Day 5 Xian
Terracotta Warriors, A local family visit, Home-cooked lunch, Xian Museum and Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Tang Dynasty Show with dumpling dinner. (B+L+D)
Biking on the City Wall
In the early morning, you will start your small group Xian tour by visiting the Terracotta Army and a pottery-making factory. You will be amazed by thousands of life-sized terracotta soldiers and horses standing in battle formations. This noon, we will heartily arrange you a home cooked a la carte lunch at a local family.

After lunch we will proceed to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda built in Tang Dynasty (618-907). It is currently located inside Xian Museum, where you can see many precious relics, too. You will enjoy a splendid Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show while having the well-known Dumpling dinner in the evening.

 Friendly Tips

The Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show will be closed in January, February, March and December, so the price of the show and the banquet is excluded in the tour. You could have a free night in these months.
Day 6 Xian
City Wall, Provincial History Museum, A la carte lunch, Great Mosque, Free time at the Muslim Bazzar. (B+L)
Li River cruise, Guilin
After breakfast, follow our guide to visit the landmark of Xian, the City Wall, and the must-go spot, the Provincial History Museum, which collects 370,000 relics items from over a million years ago to about 1840AD.

You will have a la carte lunch (valued at CNY120.00 per person and included in our price) at a famous restaurant and then continue your Xian small group tour to the Great Mosque built in 1392. The mosque is surrounded by a Muslim quarter and you can have a stroll there.

Day 7 Xian - Guilin
Fly to Guilin. Airport-hotel transfer. Reed Flute Cave. (B)
Today you will take a flight to Guilin and begin your Guilin small group tour with the Reed Flute Cave, a colorful Karst cave in the suburb of the city. Then our guide will help you check in the hotel.

Day 8 Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
Li River cruise to Yangshuo, Countryside trip. Yangshuo-Guilin transfer. Elephant Trunk Hill. (B+L)
Yangshuo countryside
After breakfast, our guide will accompany you to take a cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo to enjoy the beautiful Li River scenery, famous spots including Yellow Cloth Shoal, the Mural Hill and so on. When arrive at Yangshuo, our driver will take you to the rural area for sightseeing, where you could visit local farmer's home to feel the traditional southern Chinese farming life.

In the afternoon our driver will drive you back to Guilin to visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, naturally forming the shape like an elephant stretching its trunk into the water.

Today's lunch will be provided by the cruise company on the ship, which is simple Chinese box lunch. Its quality is not guaranteed. So you are suggested to fill your stomach in the morning at hotel and bring some snacks.
Day 9 Guilin - Shanghai
Fly to Shanghai. Airport-hotel transfer. Free time for the rest of the day. (B)
In the morning, you will take a flight to Shanghai. Our guide will welcome you upon landing and transfer you to the hotel. You could use the rest of this day to freely explore this magical city on your own.

Day 10 Shanghai
Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden, A la carte lunch, the Bund, Huangpu River cruise. (B+L)

Your small group Shanghai tour starts today. First, we will visit Shanghai Museum which is one of the four largest museums in China with more than 120,000 collections. The next spot is Yuyuan Garden, an exquisite traditional Chinese garden with a history of more than 400 years, and then have a short stay at a silk shop.

We will serve you an a la carte farewell lunch (valued at CNY120.00 per person and included in our price) at a popular restaurant.

After lunch, our guide will escort you to visit the Bund, the symbol of Shanghai and have a short cruise tour on the Huangpu River. When today's Shanghai small group tour ends, our guide will send you back to hotel and say bon voyage.

Day 11 Departure from Shanghai
Hotel-airport transfer is on your own arrangement. A pleasant trip home! (B)
Your China small group tour will come to an end today and you will go to the airport by yourself. We won't provide the transfer service due to the different schedule. We wish you a safe trip!

How to get to Pudong Airport (PVG) from the hotel?
Walk to the nearby Jing'an Temple, and then you will find the airport shuttle bus lines 2 depart from the City Terminal Building to Pudong Airport from 05:00 to 21:30 every 15 to 25 minutes.

How to get to Hongqiao Airport (SHA) from the hotel?
Take metro line 2 from Jing'an Temple Station to the airport.
