Game Drives in Masai Mara

Your arrival in the early morning at Nairobi International Airport will be the beginning of this Masai Mara tour package. Upon landing at the airport, you will find your local safari guide waiting for you outside Customs holding a sign with your name on it. After a warm greeting, you will be transferred to the fabulous Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, you will have some stops to photograph the picturesque scenery. In about 5.5 hours, we will arrive and check into the luxury tented camp inside the reserve. Time permits, you may enjoy a late afternoon game drive.

After a big breakfast, we will spend the whole day on a game drive in this vast expanse of savannah, looking for the African Big Five: lions, buffalos, leopards, rhinos and elephants. Masai Mara National Reserve is renowned for the Wildebeest Great Migration that occurs from July to September every year. In addition, you can see various species of birds playing around the banks of Mara River, where you can also see crocodiles and hippos. At noon, packed lunch boxes will be provided. After a full-day exhilarating safari trip, we will drive back to the camp for dinner.

The third day will be scheduled for an early morning and a late afternoon game drives. When you get up in the early morning, you can appreciate the stunning view of sunrise. Moreover, some carnivores, such as lions, leopards and cheetahs are very active during this time, preparing for hunting food for breakfast and lunch. Besides, you can also see large groups of elephants amble across the beautiful savannah. Or you may encounter zebras, baboons, wildebeests, giraffes, buffalos, coyotes, warthogs, ostriches, and many other animals. You will never get tired of the fantastic wildlife sightings. After the morning safari, we will return to the camp for a good lunch and a short rest. In the late afternoon, we will go on another game drive and observe the animals as they wake up from their naps.

Today, we will transfer you to the Nairobi Airport for your departure flight, which takes about 5-6 hours. Wish you a pleasant flight trip.
