The Moon Hill is so named because there is a huge perforative hole on the mountain top which looks like a full moon. When watching from different angles, you will see different shapes of the moon. The Big Banyan Tree was planted 1,500 year ago during the Jin Dynasty. Though has a history of over 1,500 years, the tree is still full of life, like a giant green umbrella providing a natural shelter for passers-by. At night, you can take a stroll along the West Street, stop at any of the bars and have a leisure drink with your companions. You don't need to worry about communication with the shop or bar owners, because most locals speak fluent English and many of the owners are from English-speaking countries.

Hi, what is the best way to get from Zhangjiajie to Guilin?
I heard about bus to Changsha and then bullet train to Guilin?

Answered by Henry from AUSTRALIA | Feb. 22, 2018 20:56

The way you mentioned is a good choice. The coach from Zhangjiajie Bus Station to Changsha takes about 4 hours. It is best to catch the bus to arrive in Changsha Lituo Bus Station. Then you can walk to the South Railway Station to take a high speed train to get there in 3.5 hours.
