Travel FAQs
What time will you pick me up at my hotel? How will you contact me?
The normal pick-up time is between 08:00 and 09:00. Your guide will contact you the day before to confirm the time with you. It is easier if you have Wechat, or a valid cell phone number. If you do not have any of these, the guide will call your hotel between 19:00 and 20:00 to speak with you or leave a message for you at the front desk. You can also dial our 24-hour mobile number 0086-18629541315 to speak with us. We are always here to help.
Will it be an all English speaking tour?
Yes. We will arrange a professional English-speaking guide for your mini group.
Will I receive confirmation after I make my payment?
Sure, we will provide you with a travel voucher including all travel details.
What do you need from us once we book the tour?
We need the names and passport numbers of all travelers in your party, the full name of the hotel you will be staying at in Xian, and the best way to contact you.
We have a flight out after the day trip and will need to be at the airport. Can we be dropped off at the airport instead of the hotel?
Our price is quoted based on dropping you off at a downtown hotel. If you need airport drop-off service, a separate driver with a private car needs to be arranged. In this case, there will be an extra transfer fee. Your travel consultant will be happy to help you with this upon request.
I will be travelling with my daughter, and would like to know what the cost will be for one adult and one child.
For an infant under 2 years old, there is no additional charge. For a child between 3 and 11 years old, the price is USD 10 less than the adult fare.
We do not want to hire a bicycle to ride on the City Wall. Can we just remain at the wall while the rest of the group rides their bicycles?
Sure. You can choose to either ride a bicycle or take a leisurely walk on the wall. It is flexible.

There were only 6 members in our group and everyone was well cared for. The itinerary was clearly followed and the tour package was worth the price. Highly recommend!

I was very satisfied with the Xi’an day tour. It was a great trip with a thoughtful hotel pick-up service, a professional English-speaking guide and a fulfilling itinerary. I enjoyed every attraction namely the Terracotta Warriors, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Xian Museum, City Wall and Muslim Bazaar. The grand Terracotta Warriors was truly a feast for my eyes. You cannot miss it if you are planning a trip to China!

I had a business trip to Xi’an before but this time I found TCG to plan a Xi’an day tour for me. They did an excellent job of giving me a superb travel experience. So many attractions that I only saw on the internet were present in front of me. I was shocked by the Terracotta Warriors even they had been buried for more than 2,200 years. The guide was also very professional and outgoing. Wonderful trip!

Very informative, guide clearly knew his stuff. He also was very knowledgeable about Xi'an itself and it's history. I wish we had more time to explore the Terracotta Warriors Museum independently at our own pace.

I was very satisfied with the Xi’an day tour except for a huge crowd at the Terracotta Army. But the Terracotta Army, the eighth wonder of the world, was indeed worthy of a visit. It is recommended not to hit some hot attractions during the Chinses holiday or at weekends.

We didn’t set up our Xi’an day tour on time as planned because we waited for a member of our group for 40 minutes. So the sightseeing time at the Terracotta Warriors was taken up and actually I didn’t fully visit the site before leaving. This was one of the disappointing things. Besides, we thought that lunch time was a little short for us. But the service offered by the guide and driver were excellent, which exceeded my expectations.

The Xi’an day tour to City Wall was an unforgettable experience for us. We took a leisurely walk on the wall and felt a great charm. With a long history of over 600 years, it was still well preserved. We rented bicycles and cycled on the wall, which was very interesting. Other spots such as Terracotta Army, Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xian Museum were distinctive and classic. Thanks to the great arrangement and excellent interpretations of our guides, we spent a full and meaningful day. 5 stars!! ... More

I traveled to Xi’an and booked this day tour for convenience. Thanks to the superb service made by TravelChinaGuide, I spent a happy day. Our guide Carol was knowledgeable and spoke fluent English. She was humorous and witty, and I learned a lot about the history of Xi’an from her. Our members were also friendly and became good friends after this trip. It was a truly memorable experience.

This Xi’an day tour was wonderful except for the rainy weather. Our guide Lily was sincere and professional. She gave us detailed interpretations of those spots, very funny. On our own tour to the Muslim bazaar, we tasted some delicious snacks and visited this thriving area. At night, we took some beautiful pictures when passed by the Bell and Drum Tower Square. Overall, we very enjoyed this trip.
