This morning, your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel, and accompany you to explore Manila’s historical sites from different times. First, let the greenery and sea breeze of Rizal Park energize your first morning in Manila. It was built in honor of Jose Rizal (1861-1896 AD), the “Father” of the Philippines. Standing before the towering monument, you can learn how Rizal led the Filipino people to achieve freedom and independence through your guide’s explanation.

Next, let’s walk into Intramuros Old Town, whose weathered architecture will bring you back to the bygone colonial era. Over the past 400 years, the Philippines has been colonized by different countries. At Casa Manila, a museum modeled after a Spanish mansion, you can immerse in the luxurious lifestyle of the 19th-century upper class. Admire the meticulous details, from the elegant fountain and the exquisite wooden shutters, to the antique furniture and artwork inside the rooms. Then, step into a real-life “Hogwarts Castle”, the Baroque-style San Agustin Church. Marks of time are left in its carved wooden doors, cracked stone walls, and the stained-glass windows. We’ll also admire the magnificent Romanesque architecture of Manila Cathedral, and stroll through Fort Santiago which took 150 years to build. 

After leaving the old town, let’s go to the modern SM Mall of Asia. Your guide will help you take photos in front of the iconic MOA Globe, and find the distinctive SM Mall of Asia Arena, known as the “Eyecon”. Today’s sightseeing will conclude at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, where more than 17,000 American soldiers who died in the Philippines during World War II (1939-1945 AD) were buried. Then, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel.

After breakfast, your driver will escort you to Manila Airport for your onward one-hour flight to Caticlan Airport. Upon landing, your local driver will pick you up and accompany you to your hotel in Boracay.

Boracay boasts one of the top beaches in the world, the White Beach. After settling in your hotel, you can leisurely stroll and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery on the beach. Crispy pata and grilled squid are the signature dishes, better paired with crab rice, which are sure to leave you endless aftertaste. The restaurant is about a 10-minute walk south from your hotel, and the average cost is around USD 10 to 15. In the evening, you may join the lively beach parties and experience the local nightlife, or have a good rest to recharge for tomorrow’s island-hopping tour.

This morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel for a Banca boat ride to begin the Boracay island-hopping tour! 

First, enjoy snorkeling and observe the local life at Tambisaan Beach. Then, discover the hidden treasure of the sea at the pristine Puka Beach. Although it isn’t as fine as White Beach, you can find various shells and coral fragments in the sand. You might be attracted by the delicate sandcastles and props on the beach, but please note that you may need to pay for taking photos with them, typically PHP 20 to 100 (USD 0.3 to 1.5). Next, let’s explore the Coral Garden and Crocodile Island, jumping into the azure waters to experience the vibrant underwater world and swim with schools of butterflyfish and clownfish. Then, we’ll head to Bolabog Beach, where the waves are perfect for kitesurfing and parasailing.

Weather permitting, we’ll also visit Diniwid Beach and Ilig-iligan Beach. Afterward, enjoy a delicious seafood barbecue before your guide and driver escort you back to your hotel.

A 15-minute walk west from your hotel can take you to Pacific Mall, where there is the busiest jeepney terminal in Cebu. Originally modified from jeeps left by the US military after World War II, each jeepney in the Philippines is meticulously painted in striking colors and designs by its owner, becoming an irreplaceable part of the urban landscape. In recent years, despite the complaints about the noise and pollution caused by jeepneys, the difficulty of constructing a subway system makes jeepneys remain the “King of the Road”. A jeepney ride may not be comfortable, but is definitely worth a try. If interested, you can download the Sakay app to get real-time information of jeepneys.

Today, meet your guide and driver at your hotel, and enjoy an informative tour of the cities of Cebu and Lapu-Lapu. First, we’ll go to Mactan Island, learn about the glorious story of Lapu-Lapu’s (1491-1542 AD) vanquishing Ferdinand Magellan (1480-1521 AD) in front of the majestic 20-meter (66 ft.) Lapu-Lapu Monument, and visit Mactan Shrine built in memory of Magellan. Afterward, we’ll head to the Alegre Guitars Factory to witness the time-honored local craftsmanship in guitars and ukuleles. The story began when Spanish friars brought guitars to Cebu in the 16th century AD, which sparked the locals’ love for music. Local artisans learned how to make guitars, and also, through long-term experimentation, created distinct tones by using different materials, making Cebu’s guitars renowned worldwide.

Later, we’ll drive away from Lapu-Lapu City to TOPS Cebu viewing platform, and have lunch at Top of Cebu restaurant while enjoying the stunning mountain views. If you prefer authentic Filipino cuisine, we can choose Balay sa Busay Restaurant instead.

After lunch, let’s go downhill and proceed to the city center, visiting Magellan’s Cross, and seeing the statue of the Child Jesus, a gift of Magellan to the Queen of Cebu, at Basilica Minore Del Sto. Nino. To this day, the annual Sinulog Festival in January is still Cebu’s grandest religious celebration. During the festival, every family decorates its own statuette of the Child Jesus, and colorful floats parade through the streets. Then, let’s unveil the historical events that took place in Cebu at the Heritage of Cebu Monument.

Finally, follow your guide to visit the Yap-San Diego Ancestral House and Cebu Taoist Temple, experiencing Filipino-Chinese culture that shaped Cebu. After that, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel.

You can explore the home of corals and fish at what’s considered “Cebu’s best snorkeling spot”, and get up close to the beautiful “Nemo” clownfish. Next, let’s stroll along the pristine white sandbar on Pandanon Island, and take photos at the island’s beautiful chapel.

This morning, enjoy a private transfer to Cebu Airport for a one-hour flight to Puerto Princesa, the capital of Palawan. Upon arrival, your guide and driver will accompany you to your hotel. After a short rest, let’s begin our city sightseeing. 

First, follow your guide to take a walk along the Baywalk, admiring the harmonious scene of the expansive sea view and the moored fishing boats. Palawan enjoys the lowest population density and best-preserved natural landscape in the Philippines, and the clean Puerto Princesa is considered to be a place where deities live. 

Our next stop is the Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral. You can admire the pure white architecture, and look up to the sacred statue of the Virgin Mary bathed in sunlight. Although there are few ornate decorations, you may feel a unique flavor of elegance and find your inner peace as you step inside. 

Then, let’s head to Mitra’s Ranch on the mountain. Enjoy some leisurely time to take in the views of Honda Bay and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Or, if you are interested, you may try some paid activities like horseback riding and zip-lining at your own expense. After that, we’ll go to Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center, which is committed to rescuing crocodiles and other endangered animals. Follow your guide to see crocodiles of different sizes and ages, and don’t miss the interesting photo opportunities with the crocodile-themed props. Today, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel, and let’s get ready to experience the raw beauty of Palawan’s UNESCO-listed Subterranean River National Park. First, enjoy a 1.5-hour private ride to Sabang Village, and then take a 20-minute boat to the park. You might encounter annoying monkeys in the primeval forest, so please keep your belongings to avoid being snatched. When we arrive at the cave mouth covered in lush green vegetation, we’ll board a small boat to venture deep into the sunless places.

Carved over millions of years, numerous karst caves are created here. The winding underground river flows directly to the sea, providing water and habitat for countless cave creatures. Thus the park is praised as one of the “New Seven Wonders of Nature”. As darkness falls, every breath you take will be amplified. Under the illumination of headlights, you’ll be surprised to see swarms of bats sleeping on the cave ceiling, swallows flying in the air, and fish swimming in the river. Indulge yourself in the adrenaline rush of awe and excitement while exploring the enormous cave chambers. Since water droplets and bat droppings may fall at any time, we suggest you wear waterproof clothing. And please try not to make any sound to avoid disturbing the local ecosystem. After a 45-minute cave tour, your guide and driver will accompany you back to your hotel.

Today, get prepared to enjoy a relaxing island-hopping tour around Honda Bay, which is perfect for families and first-time island-hoppers. Your guide and driver will escort you to the pier, where you’ll take a boat to visit Starfish Island, Cowrie Island and Luli Island. 

Starfish Island is renowned as an important starfish habitat in Palawan. During the breeding season from March to May, you can surprisingly spot colorful starfish scattered on the sand in the shallow water, which adds a romantic and cozy atmosphere to the beach. No one can resist the charm of these adorable little creatures, but please just observe them instead of touching them. 

Then, let’s snorkel near Cowrie Island to step into a real-life aquarium and get surrounded by vibrant tropical fish. You can also try different activities on your own, such as banana boating or kayaking. After enjoying a seafood lunch here, we’ll head to Luli Island. You may sip a fresh coconut juice on the soft sand or soak up the sun in a hammock. Locals here are generally hospitable to take photos for you for a small tip, which can be a good choice for you to get some amazing photos and videos. After some sweet time on the beach with your beloved, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you.
