City God Temple Pictures

City God Temple, one of the three largest ones in China, situated in the middle of West Avenue of Xi'an, was originally built in 1387 during the reign of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang of the Ming Dynasty, so it was also called Capital City God Temple. The temple fair nearby is very prosperous. Small commodities are sold, Shanxi Opera is sung, and many people come here to pray for blessings.

Directions to town god temple.
How to get from bell tower to the town god temple? And also how many subway lines are there in xian? Some sites say 2 but I'm others only show 1. Thank you.

Hi, it is within 1,300 meters between them, so you can walk there easily! Walk from the Bell Tower to West Street, along which you can walk around 780m and then turn right to Town God Temple street. Along this street, you can walk for about 150m to turn into West Jianhua Lane to get there.

Two subway lines have been put into service so far: line 1 and line 2.
