As Hong Kong is in a big mess now, taking bus from Hong Kong airport to Guangzhou may not be very safe. Maybe you can consider to take ferry. Upon arrival at Hong Kong airport, you can go to Terminal 1 Transfer Area E2 to purchase ferry ticket and present baggage tag receipt at the Mainland/Macau Ticketing Counter. After scanning ferry tickets and checking your baggage status at the boarding entrance, you can board the Automated People Mover to Skypier to board ferries to Guangzhou Lianhuashan or Guangzhou Nansha.

From Beijing Capital International Airport to Tianjin port, you need to go to Tianjin first. You can take a high speed train from Beijing to Tianjin. Starting from Beijing Airport, you can take airport express to Dongzhimen, the ticket is CNY 25 per person. Upon arrival at Dongzhimen, transfer to subway line 2 to Xuanwumen station and then transfer to subway line 4 Daxing line to Beijing south railway station. Next, you can get on the high speed train to Tianjin railway station. The ticket for second class is CNY 54.5 per person. From Tianjin railway station, you can take subway line 9 to Tanggu station. Exit B and walk to Yanghuoshichang north station, you can take bus no. 142 to Boyoujidi station. Upon arrival, you can walk to Tianjin Port.

Hi Eileen, as I know, the flowering period of peonies is from April to early May, so it is not suitable to see peonies at this season.

Upon arrival at Beijing, you can take a high speed train to Luoyang and stay overnight. Next morning, you may take bus to visit Shaolin Temple and back to Luoyang, then visit the Longmen Caves if time permits before heading to Longmen Railway Station for a high speed train to Xi'an. As your time is quite limited, you are suggested to charter a car or join a local tour with a travel agency to save time. Hope the information helps.

I kindly suggest you book the high speed train tickets online in advance to ensure the availability. The high speed train from Beijing to Luoyang leaves from Beijing West Railway Station and arrives at Luoyang Longmen Railway Station.

For your reference, there are direct shuttle buses from Huangshan North Railway Station to Huangshan Scenic Area. After getting out of the station, you can take the bus at Tourist Hinge Center and get off at Tangkou. The one way ticket fare is about CNY 20 per person.

As I know, for foreign passengers, the real-tickets and passports are both required when you enter the train station.
